Jules Destrooper Speculoos

When I first saw Trader's Joe Speculoos in the Instagram I thought it was just another peanut butter. Until I read a lot of people commenting about how good and heavenly it is. And clearly it isn't a peanut butter. Well, that captured my curiosity but unfortunately being in the UAE we are not that blessed when it comes to small things like this. So many foods/snacks/junk foods no matter how famous or delicious can be, they will not find their way here. Maybe because the laws are quite strict when it comes to food? I dunno (will take time in the future to research about it).

So back to this Jules Destrooper, I was lucky enough to find one store in the Amsterdam Airport that carries them. But my mistake was not hoarding them. I should have bought a dozen or so (then the immigration officer might seize them tsk!). Finally I was able to taste the Speculoos that everyone is going crazy about right now. Totally hands up to whoever thought of making this heaven in a bottle. You can definitely eat it alone or spread it to other foods (fruits and bread) And the price? I purchased it for only 3.70 Euro quite affordable huh? I guess I do not need to go on and on with all the praises about Speculoos as a lot of people have already done so. I'm writing this just as a way of saying to the world that hey I am also under the spell of the Speculoos too. But if you are anywhere in the GCC tsk... tsk... tsk...
