Skinfood Black Sugar Perfect First Serum 🌸

I cannot what I ordered from Ebay or from which seller but I got this Skinfood Black Sugar Perfect First Serum for free. Maybe together with the other samples I posted before.

It is serum so I was expecting it to be a light cream but instead it is a clear liquid. Was not able to take a photo of that one as I accidentally spilled some on the floor and immediately used up the remaining liquid. Well it was fine but I cannot say if it will be in the long run as the serum was for one time used only. And right now I cannot buy anything for the face as I still have many stocks.

Just posting it to document that I was able to use this brand/product and take note for the future if ever I run out of facial products. Other items worth trying out also:

But maybe, just maybe, Korean product works well with me because they are specifically designed for Asian skin?

Skinfood from South Korea

Skinfood is a brand of skin care and make up from South Korea. As I understood from the write ups this brand was created to cater to young women. Those who are in high school and college with limited budget. So it is supposed to be an affordable line of cosmetics. It has one shop in Dubai Festival City which I haven't visited yet but based on their prices via website I would not label it as affordable. I'd call it expensive. All my Skinfood items, I got it from an online seller from Instagram. The prices are much lower than the shop in Dubai but still in the expensive side. But I ain't complaining or ranting about the prices. Merely sharing the information. If price is not an issue then I'd say I'm almost happy with Skinfood products.

'Almost' happy as I haven't found products yet that works 100%. Right now my concern is how to clear my nose from whiteheads. For good. What is happening is whenever I clean my face and use a nose strips there will still be some left. Then the next day instead of seeing them lessening they just seem to be procreating. In spite of the technology and thousand products in the market still there is no solution for this. I even tried using Benzoyl Peroxide which made me looks like a descendant of Rudolf with an asphalt nose. Skinfood Peach Sake Pore Serum is able to control the oil but only for a few hours. Skinfood Peach Sake Toner is able to matte the nose upon cleaning at night but then it lasts for at least an hour or so only. Premium price to pay for a few hours of being oil free.

Skinfood Peach Sake BB Cream ~ I want to write a separate post about it as soon as I can but to just show photos and swatch only. It has been only a year since I started using BB creams so I can't say that I have much extensive experience about this. But so far I am satisfied with what Skinfood BB Cream can give. Does not help me with whiteheads but does not aggravate it either. So I am fine with that.

Skinfood Peach Sake Silky Finish Powder ~ I haven't gotten around in using it on daily basis but my initial impression was good. It smells good. It is really translucent. This requires another post too. But I think this is a promising product. That's all for now and thank you for visiting my page.

Skinfood is a South Korean brand of Skin Care and Beauty Products. Their selling point is their products are made of natural ingredients as well as fruits and vegetables. As far as I know they have a shop in Dubai, UAE. But I never visited it even once. As I can see in their website that the prices are quite high compared to the online seller in Instagram.

The only thing that's oily in my face is my nose. So every morning and sometimes at night I put a little amount only on that area. Means this bottle will last for me for a very long time. Thus wouldn't hurt my pocket that much. I know this has Alcohol which I think is really a must in all serums so I don't mind anymore. As long as I am not feeling a stinging sensation. It helps in controlling the oiliness even for just a few hours. And anyway I haven't really found a product that can control the oil for the whole day.

This is one of the products I would definitely stick to and repurchase. Will just update this post when I get the time to take more photos to share or any change that might happen along the way while I am using it. Till then..

Just a quick post for today. I do admit this is not my favorite brand of toner. My favorite toners happen to be French brands which tend to be expensive and I am living frugally. Which led me into buying different brands of toners. Comparing their prices and how do my skin reacts with each brand. Yes my face is kinda guinea pig with all the brands I am using.

One of the brands I purchased recently is this Skinfood Peach Sake Toner. Korean Skin Care Products are quite popular. Too many brands to choose from but then I settle with Skinfood. As their website states, they had been around since 1957. So I expect them to really know what they are doing. They wouldn't last for so many years if they don't. And their selling point is their products are made with natural ingredients such as fruits.

The only setback of this toner for me is that this have Alcohol. But then upon using I don't feel any stinging sensation caused by Alcohol so the content must be relatively small. Don't have any other issues aside from that. And thankfully it smells like peach instead of smelling like Sake.

Skinfood has a physical store in Dubai but I don't bother to visit anymore. As I can see from their website the prices are quite higher compared to the IG seller (@koreancosmeticsuae)
