Victoria's Secret is a US brand of lingerie which also sell cosmetics. They have a line called Victoria's Secret Fantasies. Where they are offering body products in floral and fruity scents or combination of both. Love Addict is a fruity scent in spite of being a combination of flower (Wild Orchid) and fruit (Blood Orange). I used to love Sheer Love but then slowly this Love Addict grows on me. And now if I will purchase again I would definitely choose this scent.

There is no Victoria's Secret shops in Ajman. But their body mists are available in some shops in Ajman like Safeer Mall. But the bottle you are seeing in the photo is the old packaging. They repackaged sometime in 2016 which are available in Dubai. Seeing the old packaging does not mean the product is fake. Just old stocks. I hoarded it last year not because I am crazy about it nor a collector but because there was a phase that I was experimenting which one will work best against the smell in the small and closed flat. Especially when cooking. Sadly Victoria's Secret Love Addict is not the answer. And to be fair there's no other mist or perfume that can eliminate the smell that I am trying to eliminate. So I stopped purchasing and just finishing off the whatever stocks that I am having.

I took a photo of the back of the bottle for those who are interested in the ingredients which I stopped caring much a long time ago. More or less they are all the same. And I am writing this Empty Bottle post as still part of my 'Pan Project' where I am trying to finish all the items I hoarded up to November 2016. I am a recovering hoarder of just about anything. So other hoarders out there who wants to change; there is still hope.

Victoria's Secret Weightless Body Oil is part of Victoria's Secret 4 body care system introduced for 2015. Victoria's Secret Weightless Body Oil is the last step in the said skin care. First is the body scrub. Follow by rich body cream wash. Moisturize by body lotion. Lock the lotion using the weightless body oil. 

I always have a dry skin. Sometimes I feel like even body butter is not enough. Maybe our skin has its own mysterious way of coping up with whatever product we are using. So there will come a time that the body lotion that used to be compatible with your skin will no longer work the way it used to be. So we should really somehow rotate moisturizers every once in a while. People are singing praises with body oils that made me interested. But as I use it I was afraid that one day it might no longer be suitable for my skin. So in the end there are days that I'm not putting on any moisturizer to let my skin breath. And not get used too much to a product. I hope you get my drift.

Price ~ of course it is expensive for me. Anything above 30.00AED is expensive for me. But I love it. I love the scent. Even though I'm clueless about Verbena and I haven't seen one. Smells fresh. Smells flowery. Reminds me of park. It is oil but sinks in the skin immediately. I have taken many photos for those who wants to know the other details for this product. As of me I don't care much about being Organic/Paraben Free/Cruelty Free or I guess my skin is that much sensitive. That my skin can't recognize an organic skin care or not.

Pardon but there's not much more for me to say about this product. I'm writing this post as I'm keeping track of my Pan Project. This will go on at least until first quarter of 2017. Love is all I have for this product. I cannot think 0f anything negative to say about Victoria's Secret Weightless Body Oil. Even the scent I don't have any complaints. Well how can I even complain when it is my first body oil? And I don't plan on trying out another brand. I don't need and want to because of the price.

I purchased at least 3 more bottles when it was on sale last Semi Annual Sale. Which I plan to use for some experiments. First I want to make my facial wash into foaming wash. There are some DIY in Google but they are no use to me because my facial wash is ready made from the market. What I'm trying to ask Google was how to mix it with body oil and it what quantity to turn it into foam. But then I guess no one else have tried doing so hence I can't see any instructions about it.

I also want to try mixing it into body wash or body gel again good old Google is giving my blogs about DIY but my case is the same with the face wash. All my body wash and gel are ready made. I just like to try out mixing them with body oil. I'm using body scrub with loads of oil from Bath and Body Works and the end result is awesome that I don't have to use body moisturizer in the morning. So I'm thinking that maybe the same result will happen if I were to mix body wash and body oil. After all there are also body oil wash in the market like the one from L'occitane.

Last experiment that I want to do with the body oil is to create my own body scrub using unused body lotion and salt baths or those dried scrub from Thailand that you can purchase from Carrefour or any other grocery stores across the UAE. Or try to mix this oil with my current salt scrub. Time is my only issue. Maybe I will have all the time in the world if I am no longer working.

Taken photos of the back of the bottle for those who are interested. What I've said almost everything there is to say about it. What is Exclusive Cotton Moisture? Maybe they found an ingredient or procedure to make skin as soft as cotton? But I doubt this continuous 24  moisture as upon taking a shower the next day all the traces of body butter and oil will be washed off. I had to use a body scrub loaded with oils to keep my skin moisturized or reapply body butter and oil again.

I said that I don't have complaints. But they could still do something to improve the product or the bottle to be exact. You can see the how to dispense the oil based on this photo. I would prefer it to be on spray. I had to wait for one of the body mists to be empty just so I can use it for my body oil.

And that's all for my Pan Project post today. Moving on to another issue ~ I had been crazy about lip products for the last 2 years. Well I love Mac but find them so expensive. That I tried different brands which was a wrong move because in the end I spent more money instead of saving. So when I come back from vacation I decided to use all my lip products even if it meant applying a lipstick even half an hour in the office. No one will say something bad about it as after all I am a woman. But something held me back. After the said vacation I developed some wounds beside the mouth well from the outside. Google cannot pin down the exact reason for it. Using lip product was a hassle while I had it. Used lip balm until the wounds go away. And afterwards for the reason unknown to me I had it again. Not sure if it will come back again. It is not even winter here. I'm just keeping my lip balm with me all the time in case it comes back. So Pan Project with my lip products has been stagnant for around 3 weeks in total. The positive outcome for this painful experience was I fully stopped spending for lip products. For good. Sure you might see future posts for at least 80 lip products but by then they will be all just throwback series.

Few days ago I lament about how expensive the housing here in UAE that we are forced into sharing that resulted in us having a very small space. As the bigger or comfortable your place is the higher the price would be. I don't mind living in a small space but I do mind the smell upon cooking. I mentioned about buying room sprays and body mists to use to cover up the smell the cooking emits. And to use to all the linen and clothes. So the food smell will not hang to them. A few weeks back I was able to try Febreeze and I'd say out of all the air fresheners I tried in the past it is the most effective. It can overcome the food smell and not the other way around. But it is a bit expensive for the amount of 20.00AED but then again what is not expensive in this place? But then my colleague informed me the room perfume from Bath and Body Works really smell great and effective. I'm not sure which one he was talking about. So definitely I will be in line once they have their Semi Annual Sale again this December.

Hi there! For those who landed on my page hoping for an in depth review of this product well I'm sorry to disappoint you. This is something I can live without. And this blog is more of an online diary where I write my thoughts and a tidbits of my life as an OFW here in the Middle East. And this entry is part of my current 'Pan Project'. Warning: Photos Overload. This always happen when I have a minute or two.

Pan Project of mine started just a few weeks back. To track down my progress almost everyday I'm writing a post about an Empty Bottle. And to make sure that I don't write the same entry twice I have written down a list. And I'm seeing this list whenever I'm updating something. And whenever I see it I feel something. But that something I feel is not a good one. A guilt feeling maybe? Because out of all the products I own and used up at least 80% of them were good for nothing or just a waste of money or something I can totally live without. And so making me have a heavy heart.

But then again I can't turn back the time to stop myself from making those purchase. And there were reasons anyway the time that I made those purchase. Is this some sort of final wake up call for me? If ever there is such a thing or such a term? I'll know in the following days if I will still have the same heavy heart upon seeing the list. But for now let me introduce to you the 48th product I finished. I think it was still in the month of May when I finished this bottle.

Those who read my previous entries regarding all the Victoria's Secret products then I'm sorry as I don't have any new information to offer. And just the same old information. I'm going to share anyway for those who visited my page for the first time.

Price ~ It is expensive. Whether purchased from the Victoria's Secret Beauty Shop or from other shops. Its all the same. Expensive. Not unless you really have a budget for it. And this packaging is the old packaging. They revamped it. But you will still see small shops in the UAE that carries the old packaging. Like in Giant and Manila Grocery in Ajman.

Said to be Cherry Orchid and Lily Blossom. But since I'm not a perfumer I can't expound regarding this matter. All I can say is it smells floral. But the smell is not overwhelming which is a good thing for me because if it is it could set off my head ache. If used on the body you may have to reapply every hour. If used on linens you have to reapply every 30 minutes! Otherwise the scent lingers only for a few minutes.

I purchased variants of Victoria's Secret body mist from their Fantasy Line not because I'm crazy about body mist. I was experimenting which scent will works best to defeat the smell the cooking emits. Especially fried food. Unfortunately Victoria's Secret Total Attraction Body Mist is NOT the answer. In the end fried food won. Sad to admit it was just a waste of money for me. So even if Total Attraction is included in the new packaging of Victoria's Secret Fantasy Line I will not repurchase even if they will have it on sale.

I have taken photos of the back of the bottle for additional information for those who wants to know because as of me I don't really care much about it. Said to be infused with Aloe Vera and calming Chamomile. Me: I don't need to calm. I just need to make the food smell go away. I don't have any issue with the smell of the food. But then it is not yet acceptable in the society that you go to work and what you are wearing smells bacon. Yes the smell the food creates hang into curtains, bed sheets and all the clothes. Whether they are hanging to dry or inside the closet. The battle is real.

As a room spray it cannot even last even for 30 minutes. This is good for only 5 minutes. No wonder why I used it up only for a week. 30+ AED for a week! That's the same price of a meat in the market. Or a 5 kilos Jasmine rice. I tried scented candles before but aside it from being dangerous I haven't found a candle that can help eliminating the odor form the house.

When it comes to Victoria's Secret I really love their Deep Softening Body Butter a part of Fantasy Line that has been discontinued ages ago. But as much as I love it I can't say the same for the rest of the products form the Fantasy Line. Body wash which has been discontinued was expensive and mediocre only. Body mist which is still very much available are expensive as well and also nothing special. They just looks pretty to look at. These photos will let you know that bottles are girlie.

I don't know what I will do next but as for now I'll finish off all the bottles I have of Victoria's Secret and whatever brands of body mist I might still have in the room. Will I finally try an expensive room spray afterwards? Maybe it depends on my financial status. Will I try an expensive perfume? Maybe if I'm crazy enough. Will I try another brand of body mist? Maybe if I'll stumble upon a dirt cheap brand. Or am I still in UAE when I finished off all the bottles? ☺

RAMADAN ~ One of the Culture Shocks I first experience when I came to UAE a decade ago was something to do with Ramadan. Well even when I was in Manila I know about Ramadan but not up to this extent. I remember the first time I was out and I just came from an interview. I was dying of hunger and thirst but I can't eat or drink outside. As it is very strict over here. Well it is still strict until now but a lot has changed in a decade. For example in some malls like City Centre almost all the food shops are operating. What the mall have done was to put a divider so the passerby won't see the people inside the food court eating. It's a win-win situation to all. Those who are fasting will not be tempted by the food. Those who are not fasting have someplace to eat even if they are outside. And the businesses will be operating as usual so they won't lose money. So even in Ramadan we non fasting can still go outside and do our thing as usual.

There are so many that I want to share. But then I'm always lacking in time. So my other stories will have to wait sometime to be told. The beauty products are just a tiny part of my everyday life here in the Gulf. So till the next time. 

Empty Tub 45: VS Deep Softening Body Butter Total Attraction 🌸

Hello there!

Please be warned that this is overload with photos just because I had a little time and the light was quite good. And as the title says this is the 45th product I managed to finish at least before the May ends. And if you are wondering why or where I'm getting at; sometime in 2014 when I became obsessed with skin care products that I started hoarding. Until they piled up and created a clutter in the long run. And now all I want is to have a mess free place. Granted that I can't fully avoid buying new products every now and then but at least I can avoid hoarding. And as much as possible I'm emptying out whatever I have at home. Posting them here to my online diary to track down my progress.

I'd say that so far so good. This may be the 45th post I have but in reality I consumed 60 products and counting up to the present. And as well as discarded some items by handing them over to my younger sister via sea cargo. See my clutter does not end only with beauty products. I managed to accumulate also little nit bits over the years. The part of being a woman. That boys don't understand and will go tad crazy understanding. Even me can't understand at times.

I consumed a lot of body care products than face products. Well because our faces are so small that we don't need much unlike our body skin. And my body skin I don't know sometimes it feels like I have to put on moisturizer every hour or two hours just to keep it hydrated. But then since I don't have that much time I'm moisturizing only twice a day. In the morning after taking a shower and in the evening before I go to sleep. That's why I finished at least 4 tubs of body butters in no time.

This not really my favorite scent.

Whatever I'm about to say are the same things I've said before regarding Victoria's Secret Deep Softening Body Butter. Actually this is already the 4th tub I finished. The 4th variant I finished. Others were Love Spell, Secret Charm and Sheer Love. Anyway I'm just writing this post as this is part of my 'Pan Project'. Ever since I became addicted on making my skin soft and hydrated I hoarded a lot of body moisturizers. Way too much that in the end they created a clutter in the room. I'm trying to finish them off this year to have a clutter free space. Oooppsss I'm just repeating most of what I have said in my introduction above. Sorry. Old me. I'm getting old. And it will be my birthday again in just a few weeks. ☺

Let me start by saying like I always do that this is an expensive product BUT I don't mind because out of all the body moisturizers I own this works best for me as it does not feel wet or greasy. Even if I apply generously the skin absorbs them all unlike the other moisturizers I've tried. But sadly it has been discontinued. And Victoria's Secret created instead a Perfecting Luminous Cream in a price tag higher than Victoria's Secret Deep Softening Body Butter. Well even though I'm on a no hoarding phase if ever that Perfecting Luminous Cream goes on sale I know I'll make a haul as I've heard that this has been discontinued in the US too.

I was not able to capture the bottom of the tub properly as I did not remove the price tag. But it says 'Massage on for long lasting, intensive moisture, focusing on dry rough areas like elbows and knees'. When I've got the Victoria's Secret Weightless Body Oil I'm sealing the body butter with the body oil and the result is so heavenly!!

I have taken this photo a day before I finished it off as I wanted to show that the color of body butter is the same as the color of the tub. But I failed anyway. You just have to take my word for it as I have said its 4th tub. And I finished 2 more tubs as of this writing. This is Cherry Orchid and Lily Blossom that gives off a floral scent. But with a hint of sweetness on it. But not the kind of sweetness like Bath and Body Works.

And finally when I emptied out the tub up to the last bit. That's how I use the body butter even if the scent is not to my liking. Here are the other products I'm using. Some I emptied already while some are about to finish. In short if you are like me who hates the wet and grease the lotion gives better switch to body butter. If there's a Victoria's Secret shop near to you better try out their body butter. I don't have any plans on trying out other brands of body butters as I'm done with trial and error for it. Victoria's Secret Semi Annual Sale Haul 💕

And here I am with my Victoria's Secret Semi Annual Sale Haul. It is complicated as when March or April came I was very keen into finishing off first whatever beauty products I have. Mess free room is not only pleasing to the eyes and to the pocket as well but also good as there will be no place as a hide out to the insects like say cockroaches. But then this is my first time to experience the semi annual sale of Victoria's Secret. 

I'm sort of a new customer. I started buying only last October 2015. And no I don't buy on weekly or monthly basis. Just made a few hauls between October and November then made another visit only again before the February ends. And those hauls I made were items that has been discontinued and won't come back again ever. So I had to give in to this haul of mine. Besides I am currently addicted to Victoria's Secret Weightless Body Oil and very much interested in Victoria's Secret Body Care Line. Lastly I'm having fun using their Fragrance Lotions as hand creams at work. ☺

Between last week of May up to the first week of June I made a few trips to Victoria's Secret Beauty Store. A week before their Semi Annual Sale, the Body Care Line was up for Buy1, Take1. I grabbed the opportunity and finally get myself the Weightless Body Oil I had been eyeing for so many weeks. And it was love at first use. That when they started the sale I came back to get myself other products from Body Care Line. I got myself the Victoria's Secret Body Care Line Ultrarich Cream Wash in Verbena. Verbena scents were on sale for 50% and one user said that it has been discontinued. Anyway I got mine for 40AED only. Old price was 85AED. Same price goes for the Weightless Body Oil. While Victoria's Secret hair conditioner was 20AED but I don't know how much was the original price.

After I week I came back again. Because I enjoyed the Ultrarich Cream Wash. I got myself the Hydrating Lotion. Of course in Verbena too. But I did not get myself the body scrub as I felt 40AED for a scrub that much was just too much. Very expensive in spite of being on sale. Maybe I'll try their body scrub on the next semi annual sale for sure the price will be much lesser if they still have old stocks. During this sale old packaging of Victoria's Secret Fantasy Line were available for only 25AED each making it the cheapest in the market. Available were body lotion and body mist. Body butter and body wash were all gone. 

In this next photo you'll see the Winter Bombshell Fragrance Lotion. I think this scent came out for the Winter of 2015. I believe I was not yet their customer at that time and I am not yet receiving any SMS from them. It used to be 125AED but I got it for only 50AED. Will be using it as a hand cream in the office. And even so its cheaper than buying a hand cream from let's say Avene or La Roche Posay.

Victoria's Secret Weightless Body Oil Verbena. I haven't used it alone as I'm usually pairing it with Victoria's Secret Deep Softening Body Butter and the result is so heavenly. That no regrets here in purchasing them even after the purchase I no longer have a budget for snacks this month. Haha. I need to lose some pounds anyway.

Victoria's Secret Ultrarich Cream Wash. The second step in VS 4 step care system. The scent is in Verbena. Other scents are available but they were not on sale. And I was surprised how creamy it was that I came back after a week to purchase the Hydrating Body Lotion but it is not included in the photo as its already in the office. Price is the same with the Ultrarich Cream Wash. I'm using it as hand cream. And about to finish soon.

This is my first and probably the last hair conditioner from Victoria's Secret. Scent wise this is good. I don't know how much it cost on a regular price. Sale price is affordable (20AED) so I can't pass the chance to try it out.

Winter Bombshell Fragrance Lotion. I mentioned the price above. I know I've said a hundred times how I dislike lotion on my body but I keep on buying one anyway as they works fine with my hands. Its cheaper to buy a body lotion and use it as a hand cream rather than buy a cream dedicated for the hands.

And for the last week of the Semi Annual Sale I dropped by again at Victoria's Secret Beauty Store in Dubai to see if there are any other fragrance lotion that were on sale. There were other scents such as Noir Tease but I have chosen only Dark Angel as I dislike lotions on tube. And again this one is in the office and I'm using it as hand cream at work. I now have at least 6 lotions at my drawer.

And that's all for now. There will be no more hauls for me as I don't have a budget anymore. And the next Semi Annual Sale will happen after 6 months or so. And I'm not sure if by then I'm still interested in these things. Or maybe by then something new will come out that is superior in moisturizing as compared to what items I'm using now. May Purchase: VS Weightless Body Oil 💕

Last year when Victoria's Secret came out with the Body Care Line. Said to be line of skin care products that are organic and paraben free. It was launched in the UAE market at the end of January with the introductory price of 125AED for 4 products or 50AED per bottle. I thought it was just the Victoria's Secret Fantasy Line that I did not avail the offer. I did not even visit the shop to check. After a few weeks I found out that Body Care Line is totally different from the Fantasy Line.

By the time that I have known Victoria's Secret Body Care Line it was no longer on promotion. A bottle would cost 85AED. But then in the mix and match they are offering 3 bottles for 175AED. Patiently I waited for it to be on sale before buying. Third week of May when finally they had an offer of Buy1, Take1.

I did not receive any SMS for this offer and this was not on the Shopping Informer website either. I just happen to visit the store and saw the promotion by chance. Needless to say I took the opportunity and got myself Victoria's Secret Weightless Body Oil in Acai and Passionflower. I would have taken the other variants as well but I had to consider my budget and my still overflowing dresser. I can't buy more products as I still have at least 6 bags full of stash.

First Impression: Wow. I did not know that I will love Body Oil and add it up to my regime. It is oil but does not feel greasy. And I really feel that it adds up in keeping my skin moisturized. And it is way cheaper than Nuxe All Around Oil.

I read somewhere that in the US Verbena Weightless Body Oil has been discontinued but UAE market still has a stocks of it. I wish to get some other time the other 3 products from Body Line. As well as the Shea Body Butter and Luminous Cream. Just because the Weightless Body Oil has given me good impression upon first use.

Whenever Victoria's Secret UAE has an ongoing promotion they are sending an SMS to customers but this service does not work all the time. Seems like they are selective as to what SMS or promo they are going to send to their clients. For the month of April when they launched the Victoria's Secret Love Me More in the UAE I was able to get myself the fragrance lotion because I happen to received the SMS that they are launching it at half the price.

But in the case of Victoria's Secret Xo, Victoria when it was launched in the UAE market at the 2nd week of May I did not received any SMS about it. I found out about it just because I happen to pass by at Victoria's Secret Beauty Shop in Mirdif. Well I always go inside the shop whenever I'm there even if I'm not going to buy just so I can try out their moisturizers anyway.

I think I had been saying it repeatedly how bipolar I can be when it comes to body moisturizers. I know I have to stop. But a part of me says it is okay as long as I'm not hoarding. And lastly it could be the last year that I get to enjoy Victoria's Secret goodies. So the latter won. Original price of the lotion is 125AED. But I got in during their launch so I paid only 65AED. But I'm always skipping the body mist as I think the price even on sale is too much for a body mist.

This is not a rigorous review of the product either. I just happen to be on the process of uncluttering the room and posting my Empty Bottle series to track down my progress. For last month I managed to emptied out at least 50 bottles and this is the 43rd bottle. Victoria's Secret Endless Love Body Mist from their Fantasy Line.

Just like all the other Victoria's Secret body mist from their Fantasy Line ~ Victoria's Secret Endless Love body mist is expensive, scent is floral and fruity at the same time but not too strong and does not last for a long time. If you will use this on your body you may need to reapply after an hour or so. But I'm using it as a room spray. It is okay as a room spray EXCEPT when I'm frying a food. I'm living in a small and closed space (flat) and fried food overwhelms the scent. Making it useless against the smell of frying and oil.

Its scent is soft and delicate but I will not repurchase since body mist is not my thing. I purchased different scents just to try which one can fight against the smell the cooking emits every time.

I also have Victoria's Secret Endless Love in lotion and the scent is the same as the body mist. The lotion is watery and so it's taking me forever to finish. Instead of using it on my body it ends up as foot cream for me.

And as you can see from the photo below along with Victoria's Secret Endless Love body mist I was also able to finish other 3 products. As I am really eager to finish all my stash. And posting an entry per day as much as possible to track down my success in doing so.

As of the Victoria's Secret body mist I'm currently using at least 3 variants. Pure Daydream is about to finish. Followed by Total Attraction and Love Addict.

Empty Bottle 38: VS Passion Struck Body Mist 🌸

I seriously started this decluttering since April 2016 and to track down my progress I'm writing almost daily about Empty Bottle post while not hoarding. But then sometime in MAY I found myself owning a dozen products because the shops in UAE decided to go on sale and I grabbed it because I won't be able to afford them on regular prices. So I have thrown away almost 50 or so Empty Bottles. But at the same time acquire at least 12 new bottles of skin care products. Thus slowing down my uncluttering. Along with skin care products I got myself some bags as well. While I was on the middle of discarding items as I want to lessen the number of items I own. Phew. I can't help those purchases because in the next few weeks I'll be on my vacation. And I don't even have a travel bag or big bags for travelling! Like an overnight bag or something. Tsk.

Victoria's Secret Passion Struck body mist is a combination of floral and fruity scent. Victoria's Secret and Bath & Body Works are sister companies. But I noticed when it comes to scents Bath & Body Works tend to be more sweeter than the scents Victoria's Secret creating. This is an expensive body mist. But scent does not lasts longer. I'm not crazy about body mists but I purchased a lot last March 2016 as I'm using them as room spray. Because they are cheaper than room sprays. Well I only have issues at home whenever I'm cooking food like fried food.

People who loves body mist and loves trying out new scents would definitely love this one. While I can't say much because even though I enjoyed the scent this is not something I'm keen on repurchasing. If only I don't need to buy another body mist then I won't. For me this is unnecessary. But I just happened to be living a small and closed flat. So the smell the cooking emits just go around inside the house. And so the need for body mist to mask and chase the smell away.

Victoria's Secret had their Semi Annual Sale last week of May. Old packaging of Victoria's Secret Fantasy Line were on sale for only 25.00AED but I did not make any purchase. I bought at least 9 pieces last March 2016 and I'm trying to finish them all first. And when done I'll think of other ways to handle the cooking smell at the flat.

But as of the body mists below is the photo of my purchased from March 2016. At least 3 bottles finished. So 6 more to go. And so I don't know anymore until when this will go on. I'll be out of the country next month for almost 30 days. Honestly there are so many thoughts running in my mind but sharing them over here would look like as if I know nothing but rants in life.
