Goodbye #175: Sacoor Brothers Shoes 🌸

Back in 2014 when I first saw the loafers of Sacoor Brothers. But I cannot afford it since the price was around 800AED+. Then came the Dubai Shopping Season of January 2015 and I found this shoes on half a price. Bought it without thinking twice. Spent my hard earned money. Instead of saving it. Then wore it a few times then finally had to let it go. And learned my lesson. Then move on.

Sacoor Brothers is a brand from Portugal (?) In UAE it is a high end brand. Hence the high prices. But in the amount of money they are charging for the shoes I now would rather spend it on a leather shoes from Timberland that I know will last for many years. Only a few usage and you can see on the first photo the scratches. I'm still wearing leather loafers. I will still wear leather loafers. But will never again spend that much amount on it.

Does anyone know the brand Bartz? It is a UK brand of leather shoes. It was available in Safeer Mall but maybe not much customers for the brand that they decided to put down the prices just to finish off all their stocks. Quality speaking it is better than Sacoor Brothers. Leather loafer shoes for ladies was 270.00AED then marked down for 82.00AED. My point is ~ at this age in spite of all the price increase all over the world one can still find quality products in a very affordable price. 

So if I need anything I will just patiently look around for less known brands. Or wait on sale and go back to the brands I trust. Sacoor Brothers are good when it comes to clothing and I was able to buy some during sale but their shoes (price and quality) is a let down. But I am not mad about it. At least now I know that not all high end brands have superior quality. I paid 400AED+ for Sacoor Brothers that lasted only for a few times. While I paid 246AED on sale for 3 leather loafers of Bartz that will last long a long time.
