I wonder if any of you knows the Saccoo Leather Bags? I don't know the pros and cons of using genuine leather items before. Maybe because I grew up that mostly items are made in man-made leather. So for many years, I wasted money and a lot of it. Because I always buy bags, wallets, shoes and small items that cannot even last a year. Man-made leather, PU materials, faux leather ~ whatever they call it are not really meant to last a very long time. Irregardless of the brand. I see a lot of expensive items here that are still made of PU.
I have an issue for always buying the said items constantly until someone introduced me to the world of leather. And after that there's no looking back. Like the Timberland shoes I have from 2011 or 2012 is still very much usable until now. In the long run I am actually saving money and helping the environment. Just think about the bags you have to throw away? Just think about everything I have thrown away. That I am not sure if they can recycle it.
Saccoo Amsterdam Leather Bag used to be available in Safeer Mall. The price of bag was around 300.00AED to 400.00AED. Nothing will exceed in 500.00AED. Sadly it did not generate much customers that it went on sale then finally gone on the shelves. The brand may not be popular. But it is a pure leather and I can vouch for the quality. For Pete's sake customers spend how much for that Guess bag that is made of PU? But find Saccoo Amsterdam expensive? This brown bag was one of three bags I purchased. I got it on sale for 276.00AED. I bought it last 2013 and still very much intact until now. And the bag I purchased from an elegant looking shop in Sahara Mall for 200AED+ lasted for only a few months. I will try to remember the name of the shop to warn you about the said brand. The downside of a leather bag is the weight. It can be very heavy. Not unless you are used to it. Or managed to find a light weight leather bag. In my case I'm used to it by now. Except when I am travelling. Yes I used this bag for a few travels in the past. This was my bag for a week in Italy. You may be asking why am I getting rid of it if it is really good? Because during my hoarding phase I purchased a few leather bags and I cannot use them all. I had given it to my brother. Who is going to use it now as he will soon be working out of the Philippines.
Leather will last for hundred of years so if taken care of properly then even his grand children can use it if they want. But as of me I am now into black leather stuff. Because it is easier for me to clean up. So slowly I am giving up the brown leather stuff I have. Replacing them with black ones.
