So okay I purchased this Soap and Glory body wash last April 2015. It was my first time to purchased from Boots Pharmacy. First time as well to purchase a Soap and Glory products. And lastly it was the first time that I had seen Boots Pharmacy having a Buy 1, Take 1 promo. As of this writing I haven't seen them again on another promotion like this. Their usual promotion is buy 3 products for the price of 2. And unlike Bath and Body Works this brand Soap and Glory UAE does not have any Instagram or Twitter account where they can post if they have any upcoming sale or promotion.

I have taken 4 variants of their body wash. But after a year I managed to finish only one bottle. As I have gone crazy last year and hoarded too many body washes. That I'm trying to finish this year. But anyway what caught my attention was the pin up girl from the 60's. And the color. These two gives off the vibes of being girly. Fun. And as the body says with built in body lotion. Means this product is moisturizing aside from having a yummy smell.

If you can read from the side ~ it says creamy and yes it was. Its like a creamy milk. But no photos of that I'm sorry. I used up the product up to the last bit. To make the long story short this is a good body wash. And my concern only is the price. I would not mind buying again ONLY IF I will caught it up again on another buy 1 take 1 promo.

If you must know: I also purchased some products from Soap and Glory but out of all those products for me only their body washes stood out.

To celebrate their 10th birthday Boots Middle East has an on going promotion of Buy 1, Take 1. They said to be 100 products/items on this sale. And as of Shopping Informer even the Ted Baker is now included in the said promo.

The 2015 version of me would get all excited with the Buy 1, Take 1 Promo. So my old self would probably buy all I can buy from Soap and Glory regardless if I still have stocks at home. Just so I can try them out. But the 2016 version of me is much more sensible. I only needed Body Scrub therefore I purchased only Body Scrub. The old me would have purchase all the variants of their Body Scrub but not the new me. So I'm patting myself at the back as someone I can discipline myself.

I wish to visit them again on weekend (we don't have Boots Pharmacy in Ajman) to purchase Ted Baker. But I will not break my NO HOARDING PLAN. I'll just get myself a soufflé and others would go as a gift. It has an elegant packaging that would be nice to give as gift.

I don't normally shop at Boots Pharmacy. They do not have a branch in Ajman. And seeing a lot of SA inside always making me run away from them. I don't dislike SA. They are people with decent jobs. But then SA's persuasion and me are not a good combination. The first time I shopped at Boots was in their branch at Lamcy Plaza. The SA was kind enough when I told her I don't know yet what will I purchase, I would look around first and let her know if I need anything. And the reason I finally decide to go inside a Boots Pharmacy was seeing the magic words "Buy 1, Take 1". In short I purchased this product even without reading reviews first because I got curious and not because some SA persuaded me to do so with matching lines how they are personally using it. 

This is the box. This purchase was sometime in April and during that time I was crazy and keen on finding products I could that would solve my concern about controlling the oil in my nose. As I really hate the whiteheads/white bumps on my nose. I wanted something aside from nose strips since using those strips on daily basis is not advisable. Scrub your nose in it. Nose. My nose was my main concern. My hopes were high. 

Special Pore Refining Formula ~ yes I need that in my life. Years of using nose strips and sometimes taking out the whiteheads with various tools has finally taken its toll on me. My pores in the nose has become big and some even have scars. 

AHA Facial Scrub ~ much has been said all over the internet how AHA is good for the skin. But the thing is I can't remember a single thing to write about AHA right now. If a lot of people swear by it then it must be good. 

To be honest I don't know what is Superfruit Yuzu is but it sounds good anyway. (Note to myself: google it later). More photos first before I share my experience with it:

Moment of Truth: well I will not contradict those people who swear by that it can remove dirt and impurities. But then I haven't found yet a facial wash or facial scrub that can't do that job. Facial wash and scrub were created for the purpose for crying out loud! But then the reason I purchase it was not to just clean my nose as I can buy other facial scrub in the market for a lower price.

I purchased it hoping that my pores in the nose will get better. Call me crazy or obsessed with my whiteheads as this is already the nth product I used for the purpose of making those white bumps go away. Fine this was able to scrub my nose properly. Does it helps making my pores refined or smaller? No. Does it helps in eliminating my whiteheads? No. I was hoping that by scrubbing my nose with this those nasty whiteheads will go away along with the scrub but I was wrong. In conclusion there is not scrub in the world that can remove the whiteheads so why spend money on expensive scrubs then? I'll just go back to the good old St. Ives or hunt down the market for more affordable brands.

'I'm broke but I'm happy' and that happiness is not because of the products in the photo. I am happy because finally I have a new decent camera. And I am broke as I will be paying the new camera for one year. Installment. Also I hoard a lot of products that will last for 2 years or more. Hoarding hurts my pocket big time. 

Some people can't understand why I need to spend a fortune in a camera. I'm not so good at words that I can't properly explain to them the difference like for example the clarity. It would be better to show them a side by side comparison of the photos for them to understand. I might write a post regarding my new camera but for now let me share about this Soap and Glory haul.

I had seen a few times over the blogs and forums the brand Soap and Glory but never tried one before. And I don't really have plans. Not until I visited the Boots Pharmacy and looked around. It was for the month of April. And they happen to be on sale. This is one of the impulse purchases I made. You know buying products that you don't really need but they looks good and justifying that it is okay to make a purchase since they are on sale. Hmmm. Even if this body washes turns out to be good and yummy this will be my the last purchase from Boots Pharmacy. I'll be hunting down products that will cost only 10AED or less.

It is not a secret that Asian people especially Filipinos like me are the ones getting the lowest salary in the UAE. For the year 2014 I had gotten gaga over skin care products that it affected my financial, big time! So from now on I need to live frugally more than ever. And in doing so even if this item in on sale meaning each bottle would cost 27.50AED in my pocket that is STILL expensive, so it has to be my first and last Soap and Glory Haul. And I know in the market I can find other brands with lower prices.

All my life I always have white heads on the nose. I am already using various products for the nose and no matter how good those products are, they only works up to a certain limit. That's why I am a sucker whenever I see or find out products like this that promises to make the pores better. This month of April Boots Pharmacy UAE has on going promo of Buy 1, Take 1. Until April 27, 2015. I know as I already made a purchase from there a few days ago.

Honestly, I don't have a budget anymore with all those trips to Japanese and Korean Supermarkets. Two visits to Daiso. And well my first Boots Haul last Friday. But that Boots Haul will last up to one year I think. Knowing myself and my itchiness in finding the Holy Grail for the nose that in spite of not having a budget I'll end up getting this product anyway. I just hope that this is really worth it. Since I finished my last salary up to the last dime (I'm saving up a money in my Philippine bank account which I can't use overseas) I'll be using my 'vacation money'. I think it will cost less than 100AED. I'm really hoping that finally, this is it! That I will not regret purchasing it even if I'm short of money.
