Matcha Ice Cream 🇯🇵

It has been more than a year since the last time I visited Dean's Fujiya in Dubai. I was not planning to visit again but I was able to by chance. I did not let the chance pass to purchase and taste this Matcha Ice Cream or just simply Green Tea Ice Cream. Totally recommended. I just do not have any other photos aside from this. 

You can take the girl out of Asia, but you can't take Asia out of the girl. I had been in Middle East for the last 10 years but I still crave and eat Asian food. Even my skin care are mainly from Asia. 

Some Japanese Grocery Items

Should I call it a haul? Purchased these for the month of May. As much as I'd like to buy everything I can't. I have a limited budget. I will not be able to carry everything. And need to be mindful of the expiration date. Spent at least 5 minutes to take a photo of each item. Which I will be sharing some other day. 

For those who wants to buy Japanese goodies can go to Dean's Fujiya in Dubai. It is located in Karama. Walking distance from Lamcy Plaza. That is their one and only branch in Dubai. Not too sure if they have in Abu Dhabi. Unfortunately for us who lives in another emirate they don't offer online shopping. That's all folks! Thanks for dropping by at my page.

Nissin UFO Instant Yakisoba

Nissin UFO Instant Yakisoba ~ for the price of 13.75AED so far this is the priciest instant noodles I ever had in the UAE. As can be seen in the photos above everything's written in Japanese except the small sticker at the side. And what I like about it just like their other products is the sensible packaging. Seems like they got everything covered. As of the taste yes this is delicious. I don't remember eating any Japanese noodles that I don't like. Instant noodles is definitely a no~no in my diet but then I just can't help it especially at times that I don't have energy anymore to cook lunch. Definitely a comfort food for me.

Bulldog [Tonkatsu Sauce]

Bulldog, a brand of Tonkatsu Sauce. One of the items I purchased at Dean's Fujiya. Price of 17.00AED for 500ML. Japanese items are usually expensive in UAE ~ but then are there items that comes cheap in here? Maybe only Daiso. But comparing prices from Dean's Fujiya to Carrefour, it is quite higher in the latter. It used to be available in Carrefour but not anymore. As the title suggests this is a sauce for Tonkatsu or Deep Fry Pork. Or any other fried meat. Highly recommended by me :)

It's good to know that there is a Japanese Grocery Store in UAE. But it is located in one of the busiest parts of Dubai. That is their one and only shop. The shop is called Dean's Fujiya. Located in Karama near Lamcy. Just ask Google for the GPS location :)

Ahhhh the good and bad thing about living in Ajman. The house rent is cheaper [but doesn't equate as affordable] than in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. But in terms of grocery items we are missing a lot. While Dubai 'almost' have it all. If only UAE has trains and metro that will connect all the Emirates just like in other countries. Wishful thinking.

I found this Miso Paste only in Dean's Fujiya. For soup or salad and other dishes. But I mainly use it on soups. That's it for now. Ciao!
