I got this for free from the lady at UNE (unfortunately when I came back she's not there anymore not sure if the new lady will give any freebies). I got the right shade. It blends well. Not too heavy on the face. The kind that I can wear on daily basis. 

I wish I have words to explain further but my mind is not fully working right now. So I will just let the above photos speak for the product. Lastly I think all the products from Bourjois and Une are Oil Free. And a little info: Bourjois aside from Une owns Chanel too.

I'm trying out the Blogger for the iPhone for the first time. And I can't think of anything to write so my quick post will be about Une Beauty again! I got this photo from their Instagram account. These are the available colors of their lovely blushes. And yes if possible I want them all. I'm just so in love 😍😘 How can I not be when it is so easy to use? Use your fingers only and you are good to go. It will fit perfectly even in small purses so you can take it with you anywhere. Blendable. Suites the natural colors of your cheeks. I'm just waiting for them to go on sale again..

I am done with work and I am just passing the time till the duty time is over so I decided to write a quick post. But then I'm getting frustrated for not being able to produce a good photo. I am not a professional nor a hobbyist. Just want to produce some 'clear' photos. Meaning at least the color will resemble the real life object. Well not in a 100% because I know it's a long process. But my Pentax Q7 can't perform well in low dim lights like my current location now is in the table in the office. And it's almost 6pm, so whatever natural light there is won't pass through inside anymore :( I guess I'll just try again some other time when there's not much load in here.

So my post today is about the 2nd Une Rouge Lipstick I purchased. And there's only a week gap between the two purchases. That's how hooked I am with this brand now. By now, I won't use the terms:

1. Soft
2. Glides on smoothly
3. Creamy


Isn't it all lipsticks are supposed to be like that? And so far those are the characteristics of all the lipsticks I used. Even the lip glosses. And yeah even the one liquid lipstick I have. I don't even notice which one of those I tried lasts long. And those that will last the whole day are usually drying. So I'd rather have a moisturizing lipstick even if I have to reapply it from time to time. Why do I buy a lipstick depends on the price and color. In the market today, most drugstore brands are just getting better and better. And I have this tendency sometimes that I will use the brand that most of the people I know doesn't even know about. Haha. Then I want to be the one to introduce it to them.

And because I am loving the Une Rouge Lipstick now on my wish list is to purchase all the available colors! Am I weird that at this age I am going gaga over a lipstick? What I love about this brand is the colors they are using. Neutral colors. Yes, I have said before that I purchased Gosh lipsticks that are suitable for everyday use but then again Une Rouge Lipstick is on a different level. And times like this, a PHOTO will be better to explain what I meant. A proper photo that will show the proper hues. Une's motto is 'enhance and not conceal the natural beauty' that explains the colors they have chosen for their products. This second lipstick I got is a reddish-brown. The darker version of R10.

As I write this post I am still thinking if I will go ahead and buy more Une Beauty Products as I don't need them yet but they are still on sale! And February 02, 2015 is the last day of Dubai Shopping Festival. I don't consider myself a make up junkie or collector but I am in the phase now to try it all if I can and  it is not so hard to please me when it comes to make up. But then usually when I find a good product that I like, something better will come along and I haven't even started using the Korean Products I recently ordered. And today I kind of get the setting of my camera 'slightly' right so the photos I will be posting is not very far from the real thing. This is how the Une Breezy Cheeks Blush looks like:

Once you remove the front sticker, you'll see a mirror that you can use. I let the lady at Une choose this color for me. I am 'morena' or what we call brown skin. And she said this color will suite me and I do believe her. Sometimes that is the advantage of good looking people, we easily believe what they say :) But then yes, this color suites me well. Not too dark nor too bright. Comparing this to other cream blushes I own, this one doesn't have a sticky feeling that will give a problem on summer or humid days. Cream blushes usually doesn't last the whole day and that is something I don't really mind. I love cream blushes as I don't need a blush brush and I don't know how to use one. And it annoys me especially when I am on a hurry. I prefer creams as I can use my fingers and my cheeks are dry so I think cream is perfect for my skin type.

Slide it to open which reminds me of the earlier phone models of Nokia, Sony and Samsung. I think this is cool!

You can buy this brand at selected Centrepoint across the UAE. I got mine from Mirdif City Centre Branch. Will try to look at other branches some other time. I got it during sale so it cost me for only 71.25AED. And I think that is already the maximum discount Centrepoint can offer when it comes to make up. If ever that I will see them give  higher discount in the future, I'll definitely write a post about it. 

As much as I would like to share the list of ingredients, I am still working out my way to my camera on how to take close up or macro photos so please bear with this photo:

This really gives a gorgeous color. As the company motto says 'to enhance and not to conceal the natural beauty' so this shade just like the others will give you a natural looking glow on your cheeks.

I am not yet done trying my other Gosh lipsticks but then I can't help myself to try  first this  Une Rouge Lipstick which I bought last weekend. I am kinda excited because of all the reviews I read about it. And I don't know why I have become this lipstick/lip gloss addict. The lipstick doesn't come with a box. And the tube is color white with the name engraved on the side as can be seen in this photo:

I know in this photo is looks orange-ish but in person it looks like a light brown in color. All Une products I have seen are in neutral/nude colors. Haven't seen bright red/pink so far in their collection. Or any other bright colors. 



As you can see they claim that this product is 98.1% natural. You'll the see Manufactured for Bourjois because Bourjois is the mother company of Une. It is a French brand of Make Up.

In case you are interested to know the price is 79.00AED but then I got it for 59.25AED on sale. Available at Centrepoint in Mirdif City Centre. And not all Centrepoint in UAE carries this brand. 

Too bad none of my photos was able to show it's true colors. But anyway, I can say that aside from Gosh this is now my new favorite. It doesn't have any scent which I don't mind. I can still remember those products I bought in the past the smells like medicine and chemical, argh! Not a nice memory to remember. So I'd rather have this product without a scent. Than one with a not so good smell!

I have seen this phrase a numerous times in the internet so let me also use this here. Using Une Lipstick make me say 'my lips but better'. It is neutral shade of brown. I'll just try again some other time to take a few photos to get the color in the photo right. But here's a swatch in the dim lighted room:

If  I go out this weekend and they are still on sale I might get myself another shade. Even on discounted price it is still a little higher compared to others. But then what's not to love with this brand? Aside from they are using all natural ingredients; the shades suit my taste well. On weekends I would dare to wear bright colors on my face but for everyday at work? No way. And I have my eyes on their eye shadows but I am just restraining myself from buying as much I like to try them I don't need them yet as I still have a few palettes at home. That's all for now. I know I am not a make up junkie but then I found myself buying make up since the last quarter of 2014. Maybe I want to experience it before I grow old as I don't wear make up when I was younger and even when I started working. Or maybe finally I found make up that even though I still find them 'pricey' but if you will compare them with others in the market they are actually 'affordable'. I just happen to be a frugal person that anything above 10.00AED I will start to whine.

For the longest time I stayed away from French brands thinking they are all expensive and way beyond my budget. But things changed when I have taken time last year to check them out and compare with the other brands I am familiar with. Silly me for thinking that the whole French population are all rich that 'affordable' products are never heard of in the country :) The first French brand that I tried was Bourjois. I know Loreal is also French but I am not a fan. I don't know why. I just don't buy from them. Bourjois is affordable and good so when I heard that they created a new line called Une and this is organic make up I was like 'I have to find and try it'. 


Unfortunately Centrepoint in Ajman doesn't carry this brand. And I didn't notice if it is available in Al Ghurair Centrepoint. I am not surprised upon seeing it at Centrepoint in Mirdif City Centre as that branch is so far the biggest I have seen in UAE. And there's no way I'll be able to browse the whole store to check out what brands do they carry. I am sort of lazy to do that not unless I am really looking for something very important! And just because they are still on sale that I went ahead and purchased some items. 


The foundation was free - I am thankful to the lady. She gave it to me for free for the reason that so I can try it out. I don't hoard foundation, concealer and eyeshadow. I make sure that I finish whatever I have before buying a new one. I am also not into make up brushes as I put make up as minimal as possible and mostly uses my fingers.


Une Blush On B06- for the price of 71.25AED I already consider it expensive to think that it was discounted. So not so sure if I'll repurchase next time. This is a cream blush on so no blush brush needed which is something I like. I let the lady at Une to choose a color that will suite me. I know she knows better than me.

Une Rouge Lipstick R10 - I guess I am into buying different brands of lipstick just to forget how I love MAC. I still do but only if they will go on sale or lessen the price which is something will happen only in my dream. But then no regrets with the other brands I have tried so far. In fact I find them better. I have chosen this color as this was the one the lady at Une was having and it looks good on her. I am expecting it will look good on me too without even trying it first! Again for a drugstore brand I find the price 59.25AED after discount a little expensive.


Une is definitely cheaper than high end brands but a little expensive compare to other drugstore brands. But then it is justifiable when they claim being 'organic'. Those ingredients they used aren't cheap. One more thing that I noticed with their line is those colors are mostly neutrals/nudes and I am a sucker for that. If price is not an issue I will definitely buy again some blush on and lipsticks as well as eyeshadow. That's it for now. One of these days I will use it and will again write a post about it.
