January 2015 ~ when I came to know the brand Une. Une is a French brand of make up. Created by Bourjois. Une is a drugstore make up brand but the price range is a little higher compared to other drugstore brands available in UAE market. Probably because they claim to use natural/organic ingredients. And that is their selling point. It doesn't come with a box like MAC. And it is not in the usual round tube. It comes in a square tube. White square tube. With the name UNE engraved at the side. Very minimalist indeed. It is not surprising that the first thing I purchased was a lipstick as I am into lip products. At this point I can say that Une Rouge Lipsticks are the best I own.

The back side of the tube for Une Rouge Lipsticks where it is stated that it is 98.1% made of natural ingredients. As can also be seen the lipsticks name is very simple too. Just a letter and a number. All the other details are written as well. Very simple and basic. By the way, Une is not available at all branches of Centrepoint in UAE. Not also included in their online shopping. The Centrepoint branches I know that carries Une are Al Ghurair Mall, Mirdif City Centre, Oasis Mall and Mall Of Emirates.

I now have 3 Une Rouge Lipsticks but I did not buy them all at once. One lipstick at a time. As even if they are on sale it is still expensive for a drugstore brand. But I so love them anyway so in spite of the price I can still see myself picking up another shade as soon as my budget would allow me to do so. Une Rouge Lipstick doesn't have a long staying power but I am completely fine with that as most of the lip products are like that anyway. This brand is creamy and non drying to lips so my lips will be just fine even if I forget to use a lip balm first.

As you will notice Une make up does not really have loud colors. Their motto is to enhance the natural beauty instead of concealing it. Well I am not against into bright colors but I don't think I can just pop up at the office wearing a bright make up. R10 was my first Une Rouge Lipstick, this shade is nude/neutral. Out of all the nude lipsticks I own this is my favorite as it doesn't make me look as if I am ill. I highly recommend this to all 'morena' out there like me. R04 and R06 are not exactly nude but a little upgrade from the natural color of our lips. Overall the three of them are perfect for everyday use at the office. Une Rouge Lipstick do have 8 shades only and yes I wish to have them all. Here are some more photos and swatches:

I was able to get another lipstick from Une because of the sale last March. Une Rouge Lipstick has only 8 shades. This time I got the R04 Shade. This is already my 3rd lipstick from this line. That's how in love I am with this brand. This lip color is one shade darker the natural shade of our lips.

I got this for free from the lady at UNE (unfortunately when I came back she's not there anymore not sure if the new lady will give any freebies). I got the right shade. It blends well. Not too heavy on the face. The kind that I can wear on daily basis. 

I wish I have words to explain further but my mind is not fully working right now. So I will just let the above photos speak for the product. Lastly I think all the products from Bourjois and Une are Oil Free. And a little info: Bourjois aside from Une owns Chanel too.

I'm trying out the Blogger for the iPhone for the first time. And I can't think of anything to write so my quick post will be about Une Beauty again! I got this photo from their Instagram account. These are the available colors of their lovely blushes. And yes if possible I want them all. I'm just so in love 😍😘 How can I not be when it is so easy to use? Use your fingers only and you are good to go. It will fit perfectly even in small purses so you can take it with you anywhere. Blendable. Suites the natural colors of your cheeks. I'm just waiting for them to go on sale again..

I am not yet done trying my other Gosh lipsticks but then I can't help myself to try  first this  Une Rouge Lipstick which I bought last weekend. I am kinda excited because of all the reviews I read about it. And I don't know why I have become this lipstick/lip gloss addict. The lipstick doesn't come with a box. And the tube is color white with the name engraved on the side as can be seen in this photo:

I know in this photo is looks orange-ish but in person it looks like a light brown in color. All Une products I have seen are in neutral/nude colors. Haven't seen bright red/pink so far in their collection. Or any other bright colors. 



As you can see they claim that this product is 98.1% natural. You'll the see Manufactured for Bourjois because Bourjois is the mother company of Une. It is a French brand of Make Up.

In case you are interested to know the price is 79.00AED but then I got it for 59.25AED on sale. Available at Centrepoint in Mirdif City Centre. And not all Centrepoint in UAE carries this brand. 

Too bad none of my photos was able to show it's true colors. But anyway, I can say that aside from Gosh this is now my new favorite. It doesn't have any scent which I don't mind. I can still remember those products I bought in the past the smells like medicine and chemical, argh! Not a nice memory to remember. So I'd rather have this product without a scent. Than one with a not so good smell!

I have seen this phrase a numerous times in the internet so let me also use this here. Using Une Lipstick make me say 'my lips but better'. It is neutral shade of brown. I'll just try again some other time to take a few photos to get the color in the photo right. But here's a swatch in the dim lighted room:

If  I go out this weekend and they are still on sale I might get myself another shade. Even on discounted price it is still a little higher compared to others. But then what's not to love with this brand? Aside from they are using all natural ingredients; the shades suit my taste well. On weekends I would dare to wear bright colors on my face but for everyday at work? No way. And I have my eyes on their eye shadows but I am just restraining myself from buying as much I like to try them I don't need them yet as I still have a few palettes at home. That's all for now.
