I am done with work and I am just passing the time till the duty time is over so I decided to write a quick post. But then I'm getting frustrated for not being able to produce a good photo. I am not a professional nor a hobbyist. Just want to produce some 'clear' photos. Meaning at least the color will resemble the real life object. Well not in a 100% because I know it's a long process. But my Pentax Q7 can't perform well in low dim lights like my current location now is in the table in the office. And it's almost 6pm, so whatever natural light there is won't pass through inside anymore :( I guess I'll just try again some other time when there's not much load in here.

So my post today is about the 2nd Une Rouge Lipstick I purchased. And there's only a week gap between the two purchases. That's how hooked I am with this brand now. By now, I won't use the terms:

1. Soft
2. Glides on smoothly
3. Creamy


Isn't it all lipsticks are supposed to be like that? And so far those are the characteristics of all the lipsticks I used. Even the lip glosses. And yeah even the one liquid lipstick I have. I don't even notice which one of those I tried lasts long. And those that will last the whole day are usually drying. So I'd rather have a moisturizing lipstick even if I have to reapply it from time to time. Why do I buy a lipstick depends on the price and color. In the market today, most drugstore brands are just getting better and better. And I have this tendency sometimes that I will use the brand that most of the people I know doesn't even know about. Haha. Then I want to be the one to introduce it to them.

And because I am loving the Une Rouge Lipstick now on my wish list is to purchase all the available colors! Am I weird that at this age I am going gaga over a lipstick? What I love about this brand is the colors they are using. Neutral colors. Yes, I have said before that I purchased Gosh lipsticks that are suitable for everyday use but then again Une Rouge Lipstick is on a different level. And times like this, a PHOTO will be better to explain what I meant. A proper photo that will show the proper hues. Une's motto is 'enhance and not conceal the natural beauty' that explains the colors they have chosen for their products. This second lipstick I got is a reddish-brown. The darker version of R10.

Une Natural Beauty Products... AGAIN!!!

Instead of saving my money I went ahead and buy another Une Beauty Products! I said to myself why not? Since it is still on sale and it will take months before they go on sale again. But deep inside of me I know that is a lame excuse. I shouldn't really buy these items as I don't need them yet. But then what can I do as I am dying to try their eyeshadows??? And if these eyeshadows are good then it is time for me to hand over to my little sister the palette I am currently using. The palette has 12 colors and out of 12 I am only using one or two. Anyways, here are the details of my purchase:

Une Rouge Lipstick in R06 - regular price is 79.00AED but on discount it cost only 59.25AED. Once again I let the lady at the counter choose a color for me. This is a shade of neutral reddish brown that compliments with the natural shade of lips. She suggested this line to me as this is the new line of the brand. 

Une Glimmer Eyeshadow in G03 - the price before and after discount is the same with the Une Rouge Lipstick. Price wise it is better to buy their palettes that consist of 3 colors. But I have chosen this as I normally use one color of eyeshadow only. This line of eyeshadows only have 4 colors. White, Beige, Pink and Gray. I got the pink shade. Again this is a pale pink and not a bright one. 

Une Sfumato Eyeshadow in S17 - again price is the same with the other 2 products I purchased. But the good thing about it is I got it for free. The shade is Gray. And I think she has given me this shade as she knows this will also look good on me. And getting a free item from her makes me love this brand even more. 

Correct me if I am wrong but these ladies, isn't it one of the perks they are enjoying are getting free products from the brand that they are selling? And those make up products are allotting freebies (not sure if all the time) to customers to convince them to go back again to buy? This got me thinking. I purchased from Une only twice. But then twice she has given me a 'free' product. As she really want me to use Une. To make me see that this it is really good so next time I must buy only from Une. So how come that I never got any free items from other brands like Gosh where I purchased at least 11 lipsticks? Or from Karaja where I purchased at least 3 lip glosses? Or from Bourjois out of months or purchasing from them? Hmmm... With this, next time around that I need something I'll go straight to Une..

I am not yet done trying my other Gosh lipsticks but then I can't help myself to try  first this  Une Rouge Lipstick which I bought last weekend. I am kinda excited because of all the reviews I read about it. And I don't know why I have become this lipstick/lip gloss addict. The lipstick doesn't come with a box. And the tube is color white with the name engraved on the side as can be seen in this photo:

I know in this photo is looks orange-ish but in person it looks like a light brown in color. All Une products I have seen are in neutral/nude colors. Haven't seen bright red/pink so far in their collection. Or any other bright colors. 



As you can see they claim that this product is 98.1% natural. You'll the see Manufactured for Bourjois because Bourjois is the mother company of Une. It is a French brand of Make Up.

In case you are interested to know the price is 79.00AED but then I got it for 59.25AED on sale. Available at Centrepoint in Mirdif City Centre. And not all Centrepoint in UAE carries this brand. 

Too bad none of my photos was able to show it's true colors. But anyway, I can say that aside from Gosh this is now my new favorite. It doesn't have any scent which I don't mind. I can still remember those products I bought in the past the smells like medicine and chemical, argh! Not a nice memory to remember. So I'd rather have this product without a scent. Than one with a not so good smell!

I have seen this phrase a numerous times in the internet so let me also use this here. Using Une Lipstick make me say 'my lips but better'. It is neutral shade of brown. I'll just try again some other time to take a few photos to get the color in the photo right. But here's a swatch in the dim lighted room:

If  I go out this weekend and they are still on sale I might get myself another shade. Even on discounted price it is still a little higher compared to others. But then what's not to love with this brand? Aside from they are using all natural ingredients; the shades suit my taste well. On weekends I would dare to wear bright colors on my face but for everyday at work? No way. And I have my eyes on their eye shadows but I am just restraining myself from buying as much I like to try them I don't need them yet as I still have a few palettes at home. That's all for now.
