Daiso Product #17: Card Holder

For the longest time I was looking for something that can hold up all the cards I own. I wish they were all debit cards but unfortunately they are not. Anyway glad that I found this from Daiso for only 7.00AED and been using it for many months now. Or maybe for a year now. It is just a late post. Highly recommended. Click here to see the other Daiso items I tried in the past.

Daiso Product #16: Camella Shampoo

Good morning to all! For today I just want to share that this Daiso Camella Shampoo. Truthfully comparing it to other shampoos I tried in the past, there is nothing special to it. But the smell is so great and very much affordable. So if you are into trying out different brands then you should go ahead and buy one.
Well to be fair there is no problem with whatever shampoo I am using but there is a problem with my hair. I have extremely thick and mostly wavy hair. That using shampoo alone will not be enough. I have to use ton of conditioners. Have hair color monthly as my hair are mostly white now. And rebond hair on yearly basis if possible. I just keep on using shampoo to clean my hair.
That is all for today. If there is anything else that I find in Daiso that could be useful for others I will share them over here. Like the make up cotton buds or the most affordable and durable shoe boxes I found last year.

Daiso Product #15: Make Up Cotton Buds

The last time I post something about Daiso was from last year. Well I still buy from Daiso from time to time but I am no longer hoarding or making a haul.

One of the items I purchased this year was the makeup cotton buds. This packet is for only 7AED. The difference? As you can see in the photo the other tip is pointed. Which is perfect on reaching the edges of the makeup like when I used up my Une Breezy Cheeks Blush

It will take time before I finished this packet as I am using it only when I am trying to finish a make up or skin care and I am already in the part of hard to reach parts. My English is not good. But I hope my explanation makes sense. Ciao!

Goodbye #97: Daiso Nail Decorations

Daiso Nail Decorations
Price: 7.00AED
Purchased on: 2009
Discarded on: April 2017
I used to have extremely long nails which I think was cool but time has come that I had to cut them all down when I started learning how to cook. I have chosen cooking than having the cool long nails. Found this among my stash. Nail decors that I have forgotten when I have given up using them.

Every time I write about an item I am discarding the more I am realizing what a waste of money I had done for the last 10 years of my life over here. I just wish anyone reading my posts learn a thing or two out of my experiences. Live a minimalist and frugal life and you will have a peace of mind.

Daiso Product #15: Shoe Boxes

Shoe Box
Price: 9.00AED
Purchased at Daiso Dubai Mall

Just when I thought I have taken clear photos and now posting them only to see that no they are not. And the camera was on Automatic Mode. But then moving on.. I checked the available plastic shoe box at Carrefour and Tati Department Store both shops have but pricier than Daiso. So I went back to Daiso and purchased shoe boxes from them only. As I have said I'm cleaning up the room. And part of that cleaning up is letting go of so many item that's creating a clutter and mess in the room.

These shoes of mine are still all on fine condition so instead of throwing them away I'll just send them back home. For sure one of them can still use it. And to prevent any damages to the shoes I decided to put them individually in shoe boxes. At least it looks organized this way. My younger version wanted too many shoes even though I only have 2 feet. And now that I'm old all I'm seeing is a messy room and empty pocket. And so time to change before it becomes too late.

Daiso products that might be useful to you (but some where bad products for me):
Makeup Pouch
Eyeshadow Makeup
Creamy Blusher
Facial Plate
Aloe Makeup Remover
Charcoal Nose Strips
Ellefar Waterproof Mascara
Charcoal Cleansing Cream
Charcoal Face Mask
Clear Mascara
Sole Sap Sheet
Ellefar Water Pack Jelly
Blotting Paper

Daiso Product #14: Pouch

Daiso Clear Pouch
Price: 7.00AED @ Daiso UAE
Made in China

I now have more than 30 tubes of lipsticks if I am not mistaken that I decided to get myself a pouch so I can bring some of them at work and can keep on retouching. It's easier to spot/grab them from the messy bag of mine if they are in the pouch. Normally I would have opted for a leather pouch as leather can live forever even when I am gone. But then genuine leather is not so popular in the UAE market as I don't see them often. It's just all about colors and designs. Some shops offer leather products but with price as high as the sky and comes in black or brown only. Old good Fossil leather accessories is not even around. Sigh!

So instead of leather pouch I bought myself a clear plastic type. Looked for a few shops and other shops offer unbelievable price. It's just made of plastic for crying out loud. Good thing is reliable Daiso is there when you need something for a pocket friendly price. And here's my inexpensive Daiso clear pouch:
Kawaii!! Isn't it?
Thanks for dropping by!
Till next time.

Daiso Haul Part 8

I keep on saying that I am broke. I will not spend anymore. I will first finish whatever products I have on hand. Which takes up much of the space in the tiny room. But then I visited Daiso in Dubai Mall and my plans of not spending dirhams anymore flew out of the window. But still I'd like to think that I am a smart spender. Because I did not buy items that would cost me an arm and leg. And even though I hoarded a little these items would last for months. Maybe until next year just before they expired. Isn't it one of the things smart spender do? When there is an item that you always use and they are on sale better buy it in bulk if you can.

I love Daiso Dubai Mall because I think it is the only Daiso in UAE that keeps on selling new products. This time I got myself Daiso Almond Peeling Gel and Daiso Lemon Peeling Gel as can be seen in this photo:
Peeling Gels! I bought myself 6 pieces each because I know once the stocks are finished it will take time for Daiso to replenish. A tube costs only 7.00AED and contains 100grams. And for those who wants to know what is peeling gel is, it is a gentle exfoliator. I would like to say that this is big in Asia but the none of my friends and family knows about it. Even in my loop in Social Media are pretty clueless about it. So much for me for saying about it being a BIIIGGGG thing! Well maybe for those who are updated about beauty products.

I was about to say that there is no counterpart of it in western products. But then this has the same function with western facial scrubs. Peeling Gel and Facial Scrub both do the same job of skin exfoliation. But just made of different ingredients. Both I'd say are gentle on the skin. But I'm sticking around to this Daiso product because of the price. I ain't going to spend a fortune again for another product.
Daiso Peeling Gels are available in 2 variants. Daiso Almond Peeling Gel and Daiso Lemon Peeling Gel. I know there are still some people who would not give a Daiso product a chance just because of the price and they think it will ruin their skin or something. I hope you guys will change your mind and give it a try. This has been my nth Daiso product and so far so good. That's all for now. Thanks for dropping by.

Daiso Product #12: Eyeshadow

Daiso Eyeshadow [Brown]
Price: 7.00AED @ Daiso UAE
Made in Taiwan
For years I had been wanting to try eyeshadow from Daiso but since I am not really into eyeshadow it has taken a long time before I finally gave in and purchased one. Daiso eyeshadows are affordable. Mostly comes in cute packaging and I remember from yesteryears those tiny and colorful choices. I have chose shade of brown so I can use it in office, that is if there will be a miracle in the morning and I will have an extra time haha.
Another photo of the packaging. Details are written in Japanese. Spanish and English. Methinks that somehow Daiso is now big in Spanish speaking countries that they have to include it out of all the languages in the world, eh?
Back of the product on How To Use and Purpose.
Ingredients if you must know.
Company details and Country of Origin.
The packaging is sturdy and small so you can bring it with you if you want. And I like that the front is transparent. So the shades are visible even without opening the palette.
It has a mirror inside and comes with 2 sponge applicators.
The swatch. Out of the 3 shades I can say that only two looks good on my morena or brown skin tone. The lightest one no matter how many layers I applied on my eyelids it won't show properly. But then I tell myself still it is not bad for the price.
Last words? This is one of my many Daiso purchases that I don't regret buying. It can hold a candle against other eyeshadows I have. The only reason why I will not repurchase because for sure it will take me a decade to finish this one. Not unless I decide to use it everyday. That's all for now. Thanks for dropping by.

Daiso Product #11: Brilliant Creamy Blush

Daiso Cream Blush
Price: 7.00AED @ Daiso UAE
Made in Taiwan
Okay so month of June my Une Blush was about to finish. But I am too broke to buy a new one in spite of Centrepoint having a sale. As I had to purchase other things like new shoes and skirts for the office. I just can't buy everything all at once. That is when this Daiso Cream Blush came into the picture. Very affordable. And cream type. The only type of blush on I use. I have dry cheeks and so powder type would just turn into flakes in my cheeks. (But this experienced happened to me years ago when I was starting to use a blush on so now I am contemplating if I should try a powder blush? Who knows with my current skin and weather it might work now. Maybe. But that is another story.) Now let me share with you massive photos of this product. Most of the time I just share too many photos as they can explain better than words I think. And here they are:
I have chosen the color Rose.
How to Use and How to Store.
 Caution.
 Ingredients.
 Country of Origin.
 Lovely cover.
 It has a sponge.
 Shade of Dark Pink.
 Back of the product.
 Swatch.
It has glitters but not very visible in the photo.

What can I say about this product? Well this is an 'okay' product for me. Means I don't consider this as the best I ever had when it comes to cream blush on. But not so bad either. That is my first impression only. Who knows it might change as soon as I keep on using this product. This is so affordable that I might get the coral shade on my next pay day. And even if it has a glitters I am still fine with as it is not much noticeable.

And before I forget I didn't rave about the cuteness of the packaging. Because it is already 'expected' from Japanese products. The being 'kawaii". From their food items to skin care products and other items. That's all for now. Thanks for dropping by.

Daiso Haul Part 7

Even though I don't hoard Daiso items anymore, I still need to come to their shop every now and then to buy a few items. Today let me share with you my mini haul when I visited the Daiso branch in Lamcy Plaza for the month of May. As you will notice there's no skin care or beauty products anymore. When I told myself I had to stop then I really stopped. Maybe being broke plays a major factor :) After all who can resist a make up and skin care, right? Last winter I was at their shop almost on weekly basis but when summer came that has changed. There are weekends that I don't even take a peek inside their shop or when I do I can refrain myself from buying anything. And as usual these photos I will be sharing with you were all taken in less than 5 minutes. Using Aperture Mode of the camera. Let's start:
Daiso Tempura Towel ~ this costs 7.00AED and contains 70 pieces. Truthfully, I am not sure if I saved money from buying this from Daiso or it is cheaper to buy something from Carrefour as Carrefour often has promo on their items too. Will compare and share it with you guys here soon. It is a paper towel that absorbs the oil in tempura or any other deep fried food. Being a woman I don't have to think about fashion and beauty only. I also need to think about household items and food!
Daiso Mouthwash ~ this costs only 7.00AED per bottle. For the longest time I had been wanting to write a post about it. Please bear in mind that this is not available in all Daiso branches across the UAE. So far the only branches I have seen that carries  Daiso mouthwash are Dubai Mall and Lamcy Plaza. Switched to Daiso Mouthwash because it is cheaper than those brands available in Carrefour. Not unless Carrefour will have a mega sale which they are doing once in a while.
Daiso Long Towel ~ this costs 7.00AED and isn't it a bit awkward blogging about a towel? I purchased all the kitchen towels we have from ACE before and they were on sale but the last time I checked a lot of items had a price increase including towels AND all kind of towels. So when I need one for facial steaming I went ahead to get a towel only from Daiso.
Daiso Hanger ~ this one costs 7.00AED only and it has been 6 years since the last time I bought a hanger. Comparing prices now and then there is a big difference so I am glad that I have good old Daiso to turn too whenever I need items like this one. Will use it for socks.
Daiso Underarm Pads ~ this costs 7.00AED only per pack. Each pack contains 6 pieces or 3 pairs of sweat pads. This is not the first time that I have written about Daiso Underarm Pads. This one in the photo is Made in Japan. The previous ones I purchased were Made in China. I would just like to compare if there is a quality difference between the two. As the Made in China I'll get a 4 pairs in the same amount.
Daiso Rice Bowl ~ this costs only 3.00AED per piece as this was a SALE item. And this is not the first time that I purchased plates from Daiso. As much as I would like to share them all I still haven't got the time to take photos and each passing day I am getting busier. Believe me I'm dying to practice photography even with objects inside the house only! This is the same quality as the ones available in Carrefour but definitely cheaper. I chose this for their design.

Once again thank you for visiting my page and that's all for now. And more Daiso Haul stories if my time will permit me to do so.

Daiso Product #10: Facial Plate

Daiso Facial Plate
Price: 7.00AED @ Daiso Lamcy Plaza
Made in China
Even without reading it can be seen in the photos on the product what it is about. But I consider this another odd item at Daiso. I mean a comb and at the same time facial plate? What is a facial plate? The only plate I know is the one I'm using whenever I eat food. I bought it out of curiosity as I never had a facial plate before. I would just like to try it out if it is good or not. If it turns out to be a bad product at least I can still use it as a comb.
The back side of the product. Until now I'm still getting confused with my camera. If I will look at the camera screen it looks like blurry but upon seeing it at the laptop then it is fine. Not really big but at least clear enough. Instructions are written in Japanese, English and Spanish. Sounds like Spanish so I take it as Spanish.
Instructions on How To Use. Let me write it down if it is too small for you. Apply lotion after washing your face. Use after applying commercially available oil or cream. Use for about 10 minutes a day. (I'm not too sure it I can use it for that long because 10 minutes is for one side of the face only so both cheeks would be 20 minutes, that is already too long for me).
How To Store: Dry well after use.
Caution:
Do not use excessively on one area.
Individual experience and result may vary.
Stop use immediately and consult a doctor when irritation occurs.
Do not use on areas with sores or broken skin.
Do not use on abdomen during menstruation.
Do not use this product for other than its originally intended purpose.
~ Duh. I was scratching my head upon typing the 5th on the list of caution. This is for face so why would any woman do that? :)
Country of Origin. But then this one doesn't really matter as for sure there's a strict QC after all Daiso is a Japanese product. They'll surely care for their name/company/reputation. And I can't think of any harm this really product can do.

I stopped writing this post for a while to take a bath and after doing so I tried this on my face. It is relaxing as it massage my face. But I just wish someone will do it for me haha. So in short, this is an okay product. If you want to pamper yourself a little without shedding a fortune. It is better to use it while watching TV. That's all for now. I'll be sharing more Daiso products in the days to come. Ciao!

Daiso Haul Part 4

When I gathered up all the items I bought from Daiso and took photos of them so I can write a post about my Daiso Haul, I was like OMG! I didn't realized that I already bought that much. But what makes it okay is so far all the items are usable for me. So here I am again with another Daiso Haul post and probably there will still be a part 5 and 6 of it. Not too sure though. All items below I purchased from Daiso in Lamcy Plaza:
Daiso Toothpicks ~ this box that contains 300pcs costs only 7.00AED but looking at me makes me scratch my head. Because if saving money is my reason for making a purchase at Daiso I should have chosen a box that contains 1,000 pieces. I chose this box because this is Kawaii (cute) so in the end I have a cute but expensive toothpicks. Photo may not be clear but can still clearly show its cuteness.
Daiso Stationary ~ I got these on sale so each costs 3.00AED only. Until now I am still using paper and pen but I don't buy much because of the price. Obviously with my posts I have way too many items and I can't give them up for various reasons. So the option left is to find the cheapest in the market. This Kawaii stick notes is definitely dirt cheap. And I wish Daiso Lamcy Plaza would have a sale often.
Daiso Sole Sap Sheet ~ each packet costs 7.00AED. This is not always available in Daiso UAE. I bought myself a few variants but until now I can't really say if it is working or not. Used it two times and I haven't gotten around in my supposed to be experiment to be sure that the dirt after using it really comes from me or it is the natural reaction of the sole sheet when wet. I'll do that then write my feedback here. Because I am unsure if this is for real that I haven't repurchase.
Daiso Sweat Absorbent Pad ~ I know in my 3rd part of Daiso Haul I already posted a Daiso Sweat Pad but this is a different variant/color from that one. As the photo suggests you need to put these on your blouse and it will absorb the sweart from your underarms. Think about a sanitary napkin in the underarms. Sounds funny but it is a big help for me. Each packet contains 8 pieces which is good for 4 days and costs only 7.00AED. Those who doesn't like using a deodorant but don't want the sweat stains on their shirt then here's a product for you.
Daiso Measuring Spoon with Egg Separator ~ this costs for only 7.00AED. The one that I am currently using in the kitchen costed me more than 7.00AED and since it is made of steel it has become rusty over time so I decided to purchase it since it is made of plastic. And the egg separator is a bonus.

I'm enjoying writing a post about my Daiso Haul and I still have so many hauls to share but I have to go now and take a rest. Thanks for dropping by till next time..
