Goodbye #81: Rimmel Primer and Foundation

It was an impulse purchase from 2015 or 2016. It is the major reason why I am avoiding sales associates like a plague. Because I am too stupid and they can easily talk me out into buying. I visited Xpressions in Safeer Mall with the intention of buying primer only. But alas SA said I would actually save money if I will buy a combo of primer and foundation. I got it for only 55AED.
I bought it even if I actually hate foundation. They always feel heavy on the skin and cant hide the fact that I have whiteheads on my nose. Something I had to live with everyday. That being said I used the primer twice. While the foundation only one. Now I have to get rid of it. It comes in a box which currently lost along with my other stash. I don't have the time yet to sort them out.

Korean Lip Tints

Taking a break today from Goodbye Series and Empty Bottle post. Upon cleaning up my stash I found another batch of products from 2015. Here are some of Korean lip tints I own. I am not sure if they are expired already. I put them out in the drawer first. Deciding should I use them up? Or should I just discard them. Packaging looks too cute anyway.
Most brands are  affordable but too bad this country seems to be allergic when it comes to selling affordable Asian products.

Goodbye #80: Ever Bilena Blush Glow

This is the box only. The tube is somewhere in the house and will share it as soon as I find it. This was included in my beauty products from Manila haul.
It is a Philippine brand but probably Made in PRC. Affordable. But not my type. That's why I have to find the tube and other photos I have taken for you to see why it is not for me.
It is a white cream that turns into pink when applied to cheeks. And hard to remove so you better apply a small amount only. Saying goodbye as the box is adding up to my already cluttered dresser.

Goodbye #79: SK Peeling Lotion and SK Lightener Lotion I

I got these products either December 2015 or January 2016. I have once written that SK is a Philippine brand that actually works. And a decade ago they were available in Watsons Philippines. In a decade that I am here in the UAE I never found a product that really works like SK. When I say really works, the SK that I remember can really peel the skin. Peeling the skin and our body will replace it with a new one. So after an almost a decade I requested my brother to look for it and sent it over here.

I never used them because they did not come with instructions. And what boggles me is they do not want to post the instructions via Social Media or internet. I had been told that whoever is selling the product will tell you how to use it but in my case I was not the one who bought it. I remember it used to be available with a piece of paper when it was being sold in Watsons. I waited in vain for the instructions to come. Until I had to throw them all away. For they might be expired already.
Sadly I do not have any reviews if these SK products are still the same SK that I know 10 years ago. And I definitely will not purchase again. Wasting money once is enough. I will not do it twice. Will accept if someone will give it to me as a gift but hopefully with instructions on how to use them properly!

Now moving on, for the month of March there are quite a few purchases that I wanted to make but my clutter is holding me back. If I were to buy something then finding a place to put them will be an issue. No matter how small the item will be. My clutter actually consists of small items. So even if I am dying to try some Korean make up that has to wait until the end of this year.

Goodbye #78: Sutla Flawless Facial Cleanser

Maybe this one came from the set of Sulta Flawless Whitening. I am not so sure. I just got it from clearing my dresser. My dresser alone used to contain 300 products. Meaning every inch of it has something. Even the down one that I can no longer use the chair. I cant pull it out anymore at products are available on top and below of the chair.
I am saying goodbye to it as I think this has expired. Even though expiration date cannot be seen from the bottle. And also I am not sure that it is working on my skin anyway. I am just sad because I am thinking of the money I burned just to have this one. (I wish Philippine beauty products will level up and actually compete in the Asian market). Okay that's all for today. Thanks for dropping by.

Goodbye #77: Sulta Flawless Set

Oh and this goes back again in 2015. One of the few products that are not available in UAE market. I got it from an online seller for around 95AED. Since that year was my hoarding phase and I have many products even the whitening ones that I kept it for a while. Used it after a year. But after a few tries I did not notice any difference that I finally gave up.

Kept it again hoping one day I will be needing it or using it. But that one day never came. And since I am dedicating 2017 clearing off my earthly possessions this has to go. Instead of occupying a space in my tiny dresser. Besides it will no use to me anymore. Remember the Minimalist Mantra: let go of things that are no longer useful to you.

Sutla Flawless is actually a Philippine brand. But as much as I want to support Philippine products, cant they do anything better than this? The packaging alone looks so cheap. How this will thrive against Korean and Japanese beauty products? And looking back now 95AED is actually expensive.
I do not know how many whitening products I already tried in the past but none of them works. Maybe if one day all of us will wake up and decide to love our skin, a lot of companies will run out of business. Because the cycle keeps on going on. A new whitening product will come out in the market and lot of people swear by it. Then here I am thinking what will I lose in trying out? Buying the said product even though I doubt that it will work. Then upon using it realizing that I should have listened to that tiny voice inside me saying don't be fooled by it. It won't work.

I wish for this year that I never fall into the same trap that I had fallen in a lot of times in the past. I wasted money on this one. And I am giving burden to mother earth.

Goodbye #76: Underarm White Cream

This is a product from Thailand that happens to be good for nothing. I purchased around 2015, yes during my hoarding phase. Not sure if I got it for 15AED or 20AED for piece. And if my memory serves me right I have at least 5 of it? I manages to finish one tub and it contains only 5GRAMS. This is not available in physical stores in UAE and I got it through an IG seller.

There is nothing much to say about this Underarm White Cream. Because basically it did not do anything at all. This yellow cream won't even sink in to the skin. And so I ended up keeping the remaining tubs away. Which I find again upon cleaning up my stash.
Actually what I am doing is if I find anything from my stash I am keeping it on top of my drawer for a few days. Thinking what can I do about it or if I can recycle it. If I cannot come up with anything to make it useful then it really has to go. It wont even work as foot cream!

Goodbye #75: Bioderma White

I hate wasting products but sometimes I cant help it. Like these samples I got from 2 years ago or more. And had been in my drawer ever since. I was not able to use it simply because I have too many. These expired a long time ago. Finally ditching it off since I am cleaning my space. And throwing items away daily if possible.
Always remember the Minimalist Mantra: Have nothing in your house that has no use to you. Thank your stuff for the memories. But that's just it. There are items that are hard to let go of but as you keep on parting with your possessions it gets better in time.

Empty Tube #87: Botanics Hand Cream 🌸

Botanics hand cream was from the batch of my first and last Boots Pharmacy Haul last 2015 when they have B1T1. Since I was still on a hoarding phase that time, I have too many hand creams and moisturizer that only last year when I had the chance to use this hand cream. I finished it off. Then forgot about it. Found it again from one the bags of my stash.

Took a photo of it then throw it away. Wish to give a deep review of the product but cannot think of any. Price was between 20AED to 25AED. I cant remember anymore what happened to other one. Had I given it away? Or still hiding in one of my drawers.
That will be all for today. Thanks for dropping by. And actually up to this date there's no need for me to buy another hand cream. Or any body moisturizer as a matter of fact. I do not need to buy any face products. Or make up. Or clothes. Or shoes. What does it mean? Whatever purchased I made in the first just simply more than enough.

Please do not be like me. Hoarding will not get you anywhere. You will just lose money. Lose space. And you wont even know or remember where you put some items. No matter how important they are.

Hello Ramarim!

Taking a break today from my usual Pan Project and Goodbye Series posts. Today I just want to share the slippers I bought from good old Safeer Mall for only 10AED or 20AED! I know I am advocating the minimalist and frugal life but I guess making purchases this cheap every once in a while wont hurt. Brazilian footwear would usually cost up to 100AED or more.
I love colorful footwear but I would not know what to wear if my footwear is colorful so I opted for a safe color which is black. I will see how many times will I be able to wear it in half a year. If it will not be useful to me during that time then I'll just hand it over to my younger sister.

Tahong Chips from Philippines

Hi there! I just want to share this Tahong Chips that has been gifted to me from the Philippines. Here are the photos of the front and back the packet.
Unfortunately I do not have any photos of the chips itself as I consumed everything before remembering to take a photo. I will try to find the same chips in the UAE market. If there is.
Verdict: Totally recommended. Made of pure mussels and crunchy. Taste just right.

Empty Bottle #86: Soap & Glory Peaches and Cream 🌸

Basically this product is meant to clean the face from the make up. As states in the bottle it is 3 in 1 wash off. Facial cleanser and make up remover and maybe at the same time exfoliator. I got it back in 2015 when Boots Pharmacy has a B1T1 promotion.

Smells of peaches but I am not a fan of it sadly. It does not foam up with I am disappointed of. To make the long story short I managed to finish the bottle just to avoid wasting it but I did not feel any slightest happiness while using it. I am just thankful that it is finished. Imagine that I was able to finish it after 2 years from purchasing. So needless to say I will not repurchase again.
Most of the time I wish I never hoarded products in the past. But on the other hand if I never did, I will not be having this lessons that I learned from the past. If I never did, I will always be curious with the many products I am seeing in the market. This experience has made me stay away as possible from Boots Pharmacy or Soap and Glory products. They are not bad products but they are simply not for me. Does not suit with what I need.

Goodbye #74: Daiso Facial Plate

Two years ago when I was still doing a lot of Daiso Hauls I also posted about Daiso Facial Plate. But after that post, I was never able to use the facial plate again. And it went along with all my stash in the floor. And just because this year I am dedicating it into cleaning up my space and letting go of things I do not need, I am letting it go now.

I bought it out of curiosity which later on became useless to me. May this post serve a lesson to me to never again purchase products in impulse. Well that is all for today. How about you? Will you also join the minimalist movement?

Goodbye #73: Suzy Smith London Pouch

By now you could say that I am a broken record as I keep on repeating a minimalist mantra almost daily: Do not have anything inside the house that do not have a value to you. For today I am saying goodbye to pink Suzy Smith London pouch? I do not know what exactly it is called. It is used to protect the bag from dust and others.
And again I am not too sure how many years it had been in my possession or why even on earth I am holding on to it. And it has to go now. Since I want a clutter free space. I want a  clutter free home not because I have OCD, thankfully, but because that is the only way I can move around freely in the small space that I have. And also that way cockroaches will have less places to hide. Making it easier for me to clean up. That's all. Thank you.

Goodbye #72: Splash Pink Dress

Minimalist Mantra: Everything inside your house should be something useful to you. If they are not, time to let go. So here I am with another Goodbye Post. I am now saying goodbye to my beloved pink dress from Splash.

I have this in my closet for the last 8 years but I never had a chance to wear this much again. For one I keep on gaining weight due to lack of discipline in eating and exercising. And more often than not I am too lazy to shave my legs. So there is no way for this to stay longer in my place.
Maybe it will really take me until the end of this year to totally clean up my space because I can't help to have new purchases again due to my weight concerns. But I have to stay positive and be motivated to achieve the goal.

Empty Bottle #85: Botanics Cleansing Toner 🌸

Back in 2015 when I first saw Boots Pharmacy on sale for Buy1,Take1 and I got excited that I made haul. One of the products I bought was Botanics Cleansing Toner that also promises to brighten the skin. But since I was into hoarding that year I have a lot of products that I was not able to use this toner immediately. Well only last quarter last year when I halted hoarding.

2017. After 2 years I was finally able to use and finish this Botanics Cleansing Toner. For those who wants to know you can find Botanics only at Boots Pharmacy. The said pharmacy is located only in Dubai. I am in Ajman and there is no Boots Pharmacy over here. This Botanics Cleansing Toner is Made in Thailand (but seriously does it matter?). Price I think was 35.00AED which is still expensiv but knowing the prices in the UAE that is already affordable. Plus I got it on B1T1 anyway.

It cleans the face properly but I do not have plans of repurchasing even it they drop the price. It is not a bad product but this is just not for me. That's all and thanks for dropping by.

Empty Bottle #84: La Roche Posay Physiological Soothing Toner 🌸

It has been weeks since I last posted an Empty Bottle post but it does not mean I stopped doing it. Well I hoard too many items from 2014 to 2016. So for today's post it is about La Roche Posay Physiological Soothing Toner.

La Roche Posay is a French brand of skin care products. Available in UAE in some pharmacies. I do not know if it is affordable in France and in the rest of Europe, but in UAE it is very expensive. This bottle of Physiological Soothing Toner is hard to find and a bottle of 200ML cost 76.00AED at least 2 years ago.

I love La Roche Posay moisturizers that led me into trying out their toner too. I had two bottles of it. Usually it takes me only a month to finish a bottle but if you are a hoarder with a closet full of stuff then it takes forever to finish one. Purchased back in 2015 and finished by February 2017.

No loads of photos as no time left for me to do so. So the verdict? I will not repurchase. Not unless I am in Europe and this is very affordable over there. But if not then there's no way I will buy again. This is paraben free but parabens does not bother me. It has a slight scent but scent does not bother me. It is gentle on the skin which I think everybody should use products that are gentle on the skin. In the end it feels like buying an expensive mineral water, when I have a choice of a more affordable one.

And right now I think Asian toners are on high as they are now up in the game. Asian toners are no longer just meant for cleaning the skin. Most gives hydration. Some are moisturizing. Some even claims to be whitening. And so on and so forth with their other claims.

That will be all for today.
Thanks for dropping by.

My Facebook - Just Ranting

When Facebook was introduced I created an account just because everybody else was using it. But I was not addicted to it. Probably because I don't have a laptop. I don't have a wifi. And I was working from 8AM to 7:30PM. By the time I get home at 8PM onwards I was simply too tired to do anything. Now after a few years when I finally had a laptop and a wifi and my house happens to be a walking distance from work, I finally became addicted to it.

But Facebook addiction comes with a price. When I just want to share my stories and experiences. Some people are annoyed by you but they wont tell it to your face. Instead they will just write it down in their wall. Okay. It is their opinion anyway. Also there are people who will add you up but wont even talk to you. What's the point? But the worst part was having your identity stolen by somebody else. Then being dragged into fights you are not part of. So I had to closed down that account of mine.

But then again I can't stay away for far too long from Facebook. Not because I am addicted to it. Only because it is widely used in the Philippines. Because having a mobile data is expensive. And internet is slow. While Facebook have a chat option which comes cheap and sometimes free. So to connect with them it would be easier if one has a Facebook account. I created an account with a complete fake name to protect myself from the evils lurking in the internet. It was on my Blackberry phone until Blackberry decided to remove their apps from the phone.

For a while I was offline because I can't remember my password. But luckily I have a back up account which I created years ago but didn't use which I intend for chatting purposes. The said account has my name but not completely. Since last year I had been actively involved in the Philippine politics which I think needs a separate post. To make the long story short I am one of those who criticizes the Vice President of the Philippines. I am liking most of the posts about her especially the ones criticizing her. And I am also leaving comments just like the others.

Lo and behold I woke up one day with a message saying 'Someone reported that you might be using a fake name or your account has been hacked'. I was not able to screen shot the message. Call me paranoid but methinks the person who reported my account was one of the supporters of the VP. Because my other Facebook I used completely different name. Nobody reported it. I was able to create a new account again not using my complete name. Nobody reported it. So it is not like Facebook really checks the accounts one by one. Unless someone decides to report it.

March 18, 2017 - I woke up and Facebook logged me out from my own account. I can take it back only if I will submit an identification card. With my photo and complete name on it. Something I will not do in a million years. I am not a criminal or anything. And with my bad experiences I feel that sending my ID I will be more prone to online scams. So no. I will just use this newly created account of mine.

Goodbye #71: Stripe Top Bikini

Minimalist Mantra: Have nothing in your home that is useful to you. My place? Well actually it is not my own. I can't do anything about the possession of others but I can do something about my own stuff. It has been months since I became the 'Purging Queen' of my earthly possessions. The road to my minimalism goals is quite long. But since I am doing it on daily basis I know one day I will get there. Some items I am discarding didn't make it to my blog but I sure do try to rid of an item per day.

Today is goodbye to this stripe top bikini that I have for at least about 5 years? Little items like this when put together create a clutter in my closet and in my small space. Maybe I will keep on doing it the whole year. That's how bad my clutter is.

Goodbye #70: Jennyfer Gray Sweatshirt

Goodbye and thank you for the memories.
TShirts I own: 50
TShirts I wear: 5
TShirts I'm willing to give up: 0
But since last year I started shedding my clothes one by one. I have too. And every time I am organizing my cabinet for me to know what items shall I discard and keep.

I have this Jennyfer gray sweatshirt for ages but I wore it no more than 10 times I guess that really means that I do not need it. Funny thing about the items I am discarding? It is hard for me to discard an item. But once they are gone, I do not miss them at all.

Remember the Minimalist Mantra: Keep only things in the house that are useful to you. When they no longer serve their purpose time to let go.

Goodbye #69: Sutla Green Peeling Oil

One of the many whitening products I purchased in the past. I know deep in my heart whitening products does not really work but I bought a lot as to try it out. Does it makes sense to you? You know, better to regret trying it out than never at all and keep on wondering later.

This is not available in physical stores in UAE and I got it from an online seller. I cannot remember the price anymore nor the steps that she told me how to use it. I followed those steps but nothing happened. That I have given up on it then kept it hoping one day it might be useful to me. That day never came. So I found it again and it goes straight to the dust bin. At least after I took the photo.

Remember the Minimalist Mantra: Have nothing in your home that doesn't have a value. To be honest this path to minimalism is not an easy one. I had been doing it since last year but still I haven't reach my goal.
That will be all for today. Thanks for dropping by. And lastly even though my journey is a slow one I believe one day I will get there.

Goodbye #68: Hello Kitty Tissue

Received these cute Hello Kitty facial tissues. Kept it and can't bear to use it just because they are too cute. But have to discard them now as I keep on decluttering the small space I have. Will dedicate my 2017 in this project until I am totally free of all the clutter I accumulated.
That's all for today.
Thanks for dropping by.

Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence

And I am back with another sunscreen post. This is not a thorough review. I just taken a lot of photos for product familiarization. And I feel like it is worth sharing as this is a great sunscreen and so let's begin.
The only English part of this is the name that says Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence and the rest are all written in Japanese which I do not understand. Sharing them here anyway for those who are interested.
Biore Japanese products among with other Japanese goods are not available in the UAE or in Middle East but easily accessible in my home country, Philippines. And Biore sold over there have English translations at the back. Unlike this.
Please be aware that all Biore sunscreens have alcohol so this can be tricky. DHL will not allow sending it to UAE due to customs restriction regarding alcohol but then I got this one from Ebay without any problems. Will the airplane going to explode if they are carrying sunscreens?
Cosme Award 2014. Don't know how the Cosme Award works but it sure can be trusted. Surely all Japanese sunscreens have different characteristics but I love them all the same. For those who are curious about the price I got it for only around 10USD and one month waiting time.
Just more photos... By the way I have a combination skin. Nose is the only oily part while the rest can be normal to dry. Our UAE winter is not extremely cold. I am sharing this because maybe those things play a part too why the sunscreen works well with me.
In this photo up on my hand is the Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence while down is the Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Gel. Even though I do not know the ingredients I have a feeling that they are the same except for the consistency. One is gel while the other one is watery.
Showing how these sunscreens are when spread. I just did not spread it properly. And I am now following the rule of teaspoon full for the whole face and re applying after a few hours.
I am a broken record whenever I describe any Japanese sunscreen. For example this Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence:
  • Affordable
  • Sinks in the skin easily
  • Turns matte afterwards
  • Moisturizing
  • Blends well with other skin care products
  • Blends well with other make up
  • Does not ball up on the skin
  • Does not leave a white cast
  • Alcohol smell goes away immediately
  • No greasy feeling
But of course I am not sure if it will work the same well for others. You might want to consider skin type and climate. I still have to see yet how it will work when summer comes and it becomes extremely hot over here. Especially on June to August when it feels like the country is one big oven.
I am using these Biore alternately. And these 4 sunscreens are the first purchased I had on Ebay. I cannot differentiate them from one another except maybe the Hada Labo feels like one of my moisturizing creams. So you can choose any brand and you will be just fine.
Don't know what is wrong sometimes my photos are turning up this way. That is all for today. And thanks for visiting my page.
NOW ON OTHER THINGS. I am currently and I do not know when it will end, shedding items I own. Until I reach my goal of having material possessions that would fit only on one or two luggage. So almost everyday I am writing down a Goodbye Post Series.

But even though I am shedding down my items, I bought a handful of skin care products from December to February. Well I started my Asian Skin Care Regime last 2015 but then in between there has been a stoppage. For various reasons. So this year I decided to at least give it one shot and see how it will be as the year ends.

Purchased loads of sunscreens. Purchased loads of toners and emulsions. Waiting for loads of face powders. And lots of face creams. I almost fall into the category of hoarding again. Except that I am using everything alternately and trying to figure out which one will works best. But one thing is for sure I will definitely ditch the Korean Skin Care Regime soon. All in one creams will suite well my budget and lifestyle.

I love essences but when I am using one I feel like its enough and I cant go on with emulsion and cream anymore. I love emulsions but then pairing it with essence and cream can lead to a sticky face. But my main concern upon switching with all in one cream is: the brands I have my eyes on are hard to ship in the UAE. Because they are coming from Japan.

Biore from PH

I know that Biore is a Japanese brand of skin care products but then online I am seeing Biore from US too. So I would say I am not sure of Biore Japan and Biore US are the same or connected to each other.

Anyway on this post I just want to share the Biore Japan sunscreens that are widely available in the Philippines and thanks to Watsons (I am always forgetting the S in that).
I am currently in the UAE and we do not have many choices when it comes to Asian beauty products especially with Japanese brands. Maybe because Japanese uses alcohol which is haram in Muslim. Just maybe. I am not sure about the reasons. Because honestly there are many beauty products in there with alcohol and no one cares or bats an eye. So getting my hands on my affordable asian skin care is a struggle.
I can order them through Dessercart but I find them too expensive and the waiting time of one to three months is just too much for me. I can order them via Ebay but then they uses only EMS and one month waiting time. I just got lucky that a colleague went on vacation and I asked my brother to get me a complete line of Biore sunscreens from Watsons and here they are.

Maybe by now the Biore Aqua Watery Gel has been brought to the Philippine market. I started using most of the items as soon as I got them except for the pink one. And I have more than dozen because of the purchases I made from Ebay last year which came only this year. Plus when a friend went home and asked me what do I want as 'pasalubong' I said Biore sunscreens. My verdict: I love them all. And I am satisfied except for the Biore Aqua Rich Watery Essence with BB. First of all production date was 2015 and as I can remember even though Japanese beauty products do not have expiration dates they are good up to one year only. Then it is Made in Taiwan and not in Japan. And as I can see from the internet there is already a 2016 version which has PA++++ so I have this feeling that Watsons Philippines are carrying the old and expired ones. What can you say?

Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Gel

Not a thorough review of the product. But just product introduction for those who does not know yet it exists. And some sharing of my life over here. Loads of photos as well.
November 2016 when finally I was brave enough to order online. The downside is you need to have a credit card to do such thing. First I made an order to DesertCart which is based in UAE and acts as third party between customers and Amazon. But the issue I had with them was they are taking long to deliver an item. 2 weeks if you are lucky which is understandable but in some cases it will take months. Then Amazon Japan which takes only 3 days but since it is using DHL carrier and via air, there are many restrictions. They wont even send a sunscreen just because it contains an alcohol. In spite of explaining that it is for face. Then lastly I ordered from Ebay. And I am glad that it was a smooth transaction. I got my items after a month of waiting.
I got this Biore Aqua Rich Watery Gel through Ebay and this is recently introduced to Philippine market. Yes Biore products are available via Watsons across the Philippines but nowhere near in UAE or in the Middle East. I will be sharing more photos but they are written in Japanese and I don't understand a thing.
Product Details. Ingredients. Everything you need to know. But written in Japanese. Others would surely be curious but as of me I do not mind at all.
Cautions and how to use are surely written too. As that is the standard anyway. Can't blame them though for not writing it in English after all it is meant for Japanese market. But we foreigners are too damn curious to acquire their products no matter how hard to get them.
I don't understand them at all but believe me that this product is love. As I write this I can't decide which Japanese brand of sunscreen I love the best. Seems like I cannot choose one out of the dozen or so that I own.
Made in Japan. Before I forgot I got this for barely 40.00AED and no complaints because my La Roche Posay cost me 130.00AED so in short Japanese brands are way more affordable. Plus this bottle of Biore Aqua Rich Watery Gel contains 90grams as opposed to other Biore that only has 30grams to 40 grams.
SPF 50+ PA+++ Japanese brands have the highest out of them all. Perhaps because their government is not that much strict. It really feels like a sunscreen if I were to compare to the US brand that I tried last year.
I wish I can share the ingredients for those who are curious but they are in Japanese. All I know is I love it. It does not leave a white cast. It sinks in the skin. It does not go bad when paired with other skin care products or make up. Affordable. Especially if you will buy it in Japan. So when I visit Japan I would surely stock up on sunscreens. So far I can't find any faults yet.
I am following the step of at least 1/4 teaspoon for the whole face and re applying hours later. But it takes time for me to finish this one just because I am also using other brands alternately.
It does not feel heavy on the skin. And does not aggravate the whiteheads on my nose. That is the only thing that concerns me big time. I am the one with endless whiteheads on my nose. Whether I put something on my face or not.
In the evening I clean my face first with cleansing oil also from Japan. No matter how tired I am at night I never skip cleansing. After cleansing oil I wash my face with facial cleanser and water making sure that all the traces of sunscreen and make up if there are any has been cleaned properly.
All the top of bottles of Japanese sunscreens are like this. Not pump type. But old school type instead. I don't mind though.
They call it gel but the consistency is still cream like. Milky white cream. I am certain it contains alcohol but the smell is not overwhelming.
Biore Aqua Rich Watery Gel when spread. Do not worry about the shine it will fade away. And honestly I find it giving a momentarily dewy look.
Upper one is Biore Aqua Rich Watery Essence while down is the Biore Aqua Rich Watery Gel. The essence is more liquid than the gel. But both produced the same results. I do not feel any difference at all.
Both will sink in to the skin fast so don't worry. I took this photo just to see and show you if there will be a huge difference.
My love for Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Gel and Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence is a tie. Please do not make me choose. Last photo is the photos of the 4 sunscreens I ordered from Ebay. Right now I am using 3 of them. I will be sharing another post about them. I may not offer an in depth reviews but I'll just take loads of photos again for product familiarization. All of them do have alcohol which might not sit well with some of you. But they are the best out there. Better than French brands.
Now about my life here as an OFW: for years I had been complaining about money. But not really looking deeply at myself like about my spending habits. Only last year when I finally took charge of my life and decided to make some changes. Little and slow changes. But changes anyway. I started Pan Project with all the make up and skin care products I own during my hoarding phase. I started discarding items I do not need and keeps on doing so until I am satisfied. And trying hard to be smart with my expenses. Plus disciplining my family back home not to rely on me all the time since all my siblings are all grown ups.

I know most OFW's have the same problems like me. About money and family back home. But only us and us alone can change our lives if we want to. I always thought that it was only my family that drains my money forgetting that I am also at fault. As I discard a clothing of mine per day at the same time I am also on a Shopping Ban. Not only for myself but for my family back home. September up to the present I purchased only one dress on sale. Somehow it makes a difference with my budget no matter how small the difference is. I wish someone influenced me about minimalism and being frugal since Day 1. So the people that surround us play a part too. Surround yourself with people who will help you grow. If not possible read blogs and books about self help and the likes.

September 2016 ~ the last time I purchased body wash I am still using some that I acquired when I was still a hoarder. And I will be going back to using bar soaps again soon. It will be 6 months of me not purchasing. I would rather save the money for future travels. I do not remember when was the last time I purchased body moisturizers but I know it is more than 6 months now. It is a big help since most of the spaces are getting clearer.

Right now the only items I am still buying are food. But I am avoiding stocking up as it leads to being expired which is a waste of money. I am still buying skin care products and admittedly I have at least 30 now but I got them all of sale or they are not available in the UAE market and I am really using them unlike in the past that I would buy something and keep it until I forget about it. For example: I have 5 kinds of toners but I am using them all for my 7 skin layering (not necessarily need to follow 7) and I have 4 kinds of emulsions which I am using alternately to see which one will works best for me. The only remaining thing is finding another alternative source of income. I know one day I will come to that.

But one step at a time. I only started saving for my future. And at the same time paying off debts if there are still any. And of course take a vacation that I deserve. Something I deprived myself off for the last 10 years. I still have problems but I feel that at least my life now is better than it was.
