Loreal UV Perfect

Back to the post: I purchased Loreal UV Perfect back in February 2015 and during that time I do not know what was in my mind for making that purchase. I mean I was standing in the aisle of beauty products of Safeer Hypermarket, just looking around at each brand of beauty products. It caught my eye because as I can remember it was written that it was specifically made for Asian skin. And during the time of purchase I had no idea that it is actually a sunscreen. I only realized it when I was about to finish it. I know another stupid moments of mine. So meaning there were times before that I was actually putting 2 brands sunscreens at a time! The product was with a box but I cannot find that photo anymore. Well I am not yet done with all the decluttering that I haven't even touch yet the external hard disks I own.

Loreal UV Perfect is easily accessible in the UAE market. Meaning most super markets are selling it. Price wise? Not so bad. One tube cost only 45AED and if you will compare it with French brands then you can say that it is actually affordable. Avene or La Roche Posay sunscreen would cost 130AED. Loreal UV Perfect contains 30ML per tube. Again not so bad as most of the sunscreens in the market are just in the same amount. And the good thing about it is you can bring it with you anytime due to the small packaging/amount. Or if you do not really like it you will be able to finish it immediately hence no need to waste it. And right now as I look at the tube this reminds me a lot of a Japanese sunscreen. Or Asian sunscreen to be specific. Asian sunscreens are mostly PA+++ or PA++++ and this Loreal UV Perfect is PA+++ which is what you will normally find in the Asian sunscreens. I don't know about the Western brands as I tried one US brand and did not like it even a bit.

I have taken photos of the back of the bottle but I will type anyway as I know my photos are quite bad. That puts my good camera to shame. UV Perfect 12H Long Lasting UV Protector SPF 50+/PA+++. Protects your skin against UVA/UVB, prevents skin darkening, brown spots and premature ageing. (Seems like the product is talking about what I am looking for in a sunscreen. But silly me I only read it when I am about to finish the bottle). 

Usage: Use UV Perfect at the end of your skin care routine, as a daily UV protector or moisturizing make up base. Avoid eye contact. In case of contact, rinse them immediately and thoroughly. What a silly mistake. I was using it wrongly all those time. Now there's only at least 1/8 left which I will finish in a day or two. Again the next photo has chosen to have a weird angle than how I originally photographed it.

Anyway on this crazy angle photo I would just like to show how the end or tip looks like. Just press the bottle and the cream will come out. Yes it is creamy. I do not recall smelling any scent from it and even if there is it is probably a good one that I do not notice or mind. It sinks in well in the skin. It does not even balls up with the skin care products layering that I am doing in the morning. [I feel that I have to mention that because the expensive La Roche Posay Anthelios cream is turns into little balls or flakes in my face once I apply other products]. There's a slight shine but it goes away after some time so I do not mind really. And most important of all it does not feel greasy. I like it so well that I went ahead and purchased the new version of Loreal UV Perfect even though I still have at least 2 sunscreens in my dresser.

The variant I have is Transparent Skin. And I just want to show what the cream looks like. And finally in the last photo the Shiseido Senka Mineral Water UV Essence that I got yesterday from Desert Cart. [I will write a separate post about my experience in Desert Cart and of course about the Shiseido Senka Mineral Water UV Essence]. I do not read about the ingredients of the two sunscreens except both are having the same SPF 50/PA+++ meaning no need for me to buy from an online seller. As I have a choice of Loreal. 

And now because of my interest in Loreal UV Perfect that I asked Google about it. Well according to Google it is available in Asia in different variants! But then since I am in the Middle East and makeup is far more important than sunscreens that we do get only one variant while in Asia they get the mist, bb cream and whitening. And also the essence. Out of all the 5 variants available UAE got only the Loreal UV Perfect Transparent Skin. (Sigh!) Anyway that is all for today. Thanks for dropping by.
